  1. Last time was in 2014 on Allure, all I did was call up room service and they brought this, no charge and set it on our balcony. No Suite either, just cabin 11729: Guess those days are gone. We have had a few fruit/toast/rolls on balcony since then, but never eggs.
  2. We didn't find out we didn't get it until we'd been sitting in the grand centrum of Grandeur for 3 hours boarding day!
  3. Thanks for the ride Twangster, as usual great photography! Loved that moon shot...wow!
  4. I've been looking for it for 25 years, have seen it twice, but never got it on camera. I'm told it's impossible on a ship because of the movement. From Hawaii:
  5. We thought that section was completely useless, just a street gang kinda area. We never got to do the bumpers either. It was always just youngsters hangin out throwin balls around and then the burger upstairs in the sports bar was a big disappointment. We went up there twice and then never again.
  6. Loved Odyssey but Oasis class for us all the way. You can't beat the 270 show The Book though, it was stupendous.
  7. We did it on Odyssey in December boarding day and loved it! I had the Carbonara, Todd had Lasagna, both delish! Desserts were fabulous!
  8. We were there before it ever became Maya Key. It was called Fins & Flippers then I think. They built a fake pyramid and renamed it. Snorkeled there but like the West End coral better.
  9. Some of the stand up shows never open early, when you are waiting to board in the Terminal lounge is my favorite time to get it all sorted and then they start to become available. Sitting there we finish everything in the app we can so when we walk onto the ship, all we have to do if find our muster station and we're pretty much done.
  10. It pays to be nice...simple rule, more honey more service. A smile and appreciative attitude is just the way to act period. If that gets you a stiffer drink or someone overlooks your card, it's none of my business...they know genuine concern when they see it. Most of those had nothing to do with an extra tip either. We appreciate people who serve us, that's all, whether it "Gets" us anything doesn't matter, but I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. And yes, it does make a difference in brand loyalty. And by the way, we've had multiple incidents of restaurant and bar managers "giving" us bottles of wine etc. if we even mention we are not pleased about something. So they all do it whether it's policy or not...and it's not a secret.
  11. My tip is to ask for a bowl of lemon wedges and drizzle across the Benedict....I love lemon juice on just about anything!
  12. OK, just wish they'd kept it...we loved it. We were in Alaska and that soup hit the spot. I think we had it several lunches.
  13. Fortunately for my Hubs, I'm not very discriminating. I can find something good to eat anywhere on their ships. Not letting this change bother me, but, I will give a truthful exit review.
  14. That is so cool...here is a real Naval ceremony on my Dad's submarine the Basuga "Crossing the international date line in the Pacific 1947" : Neptune and Queen LOL
  15. Same here but way back in 2014! There was a Mexican venue on deck 11 then, had some of the best tortilla soup I ever ate there....several times! And that's saying a lot from a Texan! Looks like they made it into a Dog House since then. They really had pretty good food.😥
  16. Was it as good as you remembered. I do that lots of times with years in between and it always turns out NOT as good as I thought it was. Hope it was tasty! You deserved something going right!
  17. They just dropped the lines and are reeling them in....you should be moving soon! Bon Voyage ya'll. There you go, moving at 4:12
  18. We have never had corkage fees. We avoid it by keeping our wine in the cabin. Ask steward for a corker. We ask for wine glasses and take our wine to dinner. We have taken more than just one glass also, set it on the table with us, no problem, no comments.
