  1. Rediculous! I've never felt any of the Oasis ships were too crowded, maybe after a show let out...NOT ENOUGH to do...what????? We love Oasis class BECAUSE there's so much to do! LOL There's always stuff to do and food to eat all the time. Towel animals, what are they? You'd choose a line because they make little animals out of towels. Sorry, don't mean to be a put down, but I think honestly, you've been reading too much. You will probably agree with the rest of us, Oasis class is great. The take back is, A cruise is what you make it. Go and have a blast!
  2. A picture says a thousand words: we never needed a coat except at the Glacier. Balcony all the way...and aft is the berries. Both September, first one Radiance second one Celebrity Solstice:
  3. As I said, I booked it online directly with Blue Lagoon. In this pic you can see the yellow tower behind the boat with a ferry waiting there, that is King George Wharf, where the ships dock. Too bad that is not the same, much more convenient and we took the first ferry back right after lunch, so we had time to schmooz around in the afternoon.
  4. Most people do not know how to control their bodies on a dive that high.
  5. Someone was a few years back, I think it was in Cozumel and he fell off a small boat next to the ship that was returning from an excursion. It was posted on here.
  6. That was not the case when we did it. We caught it right at the pier, we had to walk about 100 yrds to it from Allure. But that was 2009, so lots could have changed especially with the new pier extension now completed.
  7. I spoke with them today and they have a returning ferry leaving the island at 1:00pm and 3:30pm, so you can leave early to get back and shop. You depart for the island at 8:00 in the morning. Don't know about the RCCL excursion, but you can book it right at https://www.dolphinencounters.com/ Adults - $94.00 Children - $70.00 (ages 4-12) lunch, drinks and entry. Don't know what RCCL charges
  8. No need to be defensive, I never mentioned you or your comments, I am well aware of some people's fears. Our first trip was in 2009
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSNmqBfwTQg This You Tube is of the Lobby at Atlantis. This is a fun walkabout absolutely free to come in here and have lunch etc. tour the village of shops outside the hotel too. You just take the water Taxi over from the pier. We enjoyed it. The Marina has all sorts of high roller yachts docked in it too. Ones with helicopters etc. We enjoyed walking around in there very much.
  10. This was quite a few years back but I think there were plenty of umbrellas...tons of loungers everywhere and on the beach, it was an older hotel, but they have updated it since then. We were perfectly happy. We took kayaks out and paddled around too. Swim up bar etc. Just looked at reviews, they like it but I see post Covid it is $80 for the day pass..LOL
  11. As for Nassau itself, there are tons of things to do there outside the cruise port. Don't know why people feel so unsafe. We once took the public bus Jitney #10 I think, for $1 or 2 over to Breezes resort we did for a day, we loved it. I think we paid a day use fee about $50, got lunch and free drinks. And we got to talk to natives on the bus which we enjoyed. Not everyone who lives there is a criminal. We've done the hotel across the port from the ship and to Junkanoo Beach and took a boat taxi over to Atlantis, there are many places you can go in there without spending any money even in the hotel lobby and still see some of the aquarium...had a good time in all those places, we never felt unsafe, but having done so much, the last few cruises we did stay onboard. O yeah, you can take a water taxi tour too and see the harbor and go by all the movie stars houses, we did that once.
  12. You just walk over there, you can't see the performances but you can see plenty of dolphin being trained in their pens and I took this video of one just having his own fun. Hope this video can be played. Couldn't get it to work so I took a still phone photo of the video, he was tail walking. Just takin a walk.MTS
  13. o man nothing beats Al Bacios lattes with their chocolate croissants
  14. Tried to post the vid, didn't work. We left at about 8:00 and had no problem with lines at all. Never had a line at the lunch place. Alyssa's review on You Tube:
  15. Yes, you can return sooner, they run the shuttle every hour I believe, we enjoyed our day there and the dolphin performances. It is very family oriented with lots of blow up bouncy water things, if you go across the island there is a cove where the kids don't always frequent that adults would appreciate. It's on the ocean side though so surf is more aggressive there. Lunch was good. This pic shows that beach. The kiddie toys are in the lagoon, the dolphin stuff is to the left in the pic. Todd posted at the same time. We booked our trip through Blue Lagoon so did not go with a Rccl group. But at that time they were doing the returns every hour. I just looked at our movies and he's right, not many umbrellas, some palapas, but there are lots of palm trees.
  16. Nothing any meteorologist can do could've helped that incident. You can't always predict a squall like that. The best they could've done in the time they had was make an announcement to get everybody under cover when they saw it coming, and they may have, the video didn't show it. My best guess is the Cpt. was already trying to get away from the pier before it hit. She was almost sideways in the channel when it hit. I've been in one of these, but they were johnny on the spot, had the deck doors locked and nobody outside when it hit us. These things can blow up in seconds which this one obviously did.
  17. I don't understand how they're not losing money already on all those things. Our next cruise Full Beach Club Day Pass is up to $283.99 pp!!!!!!!! We paid $58.99pp 2 yrs ago Sept. 21! Guess we will never return to Beach Club. Went back and checked my pics, we went to Labadee on Celebrity Reflection in 2014 and to CoCoCay on Celebrity Eclipse in 2015. I knew I remembered that correctly! So Celebrity has been to both ports in the past. A couple of the Sisters were there when the fleet was at CoCoCay for the fireworks a couple years ago too.
  18. I mean after every "stupid" dumb thing I did, a good shellacking followed!
  19. He and his mother had a disconnect of some sort. Growing up, I got the picture early on...
  20. I've seen those loungers flapping their backs many times on many cruises, never saw one take flight like that before.
  21. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. She looks just fine to me. No accounting for taste.😛
  22. Here's her Marine Traffic position right now:
