  1. Yes to the second question. As to the first question not sure. If your TA is giving you OBC it is usually based on the price that you are paying which will be reduced if you use the points for $$ off the cruise fare. They then might give you less OBC
  2. Look in the app for a current Western Wonder sailing. Yours may not be loaded yet
  3. I also saw people without reservations turned away at lunch
  4. I have done this several times but it was many years ago. Had mixed reviews. A couple of times it kind of threw the staff for a loop when the 2 of us showed up. Other times it worked well. I don't think that they even adj our cost but this was way before COVID
  5. Most of these rules are written based on 2 people using it, not for solo passengers. I read it as you can't go to Hooked with your wife and pay for your meal and get hers for free. I am NOT trying to get anything for free at Hooked. I want to go there, pay my $60 for dinner (estimate) then go to Giovannis and get my BOGO $40 (est) for free. I am solo
  6. I have an unopened soda cup from my one and only $18 drink package from March 2020. Maybe I can sell it on Ebay😇
  7. I know that the free one can't be at Hooked but are you saying that I can't pay for my solo dinner at Hooked and get my free one at a different venue?
  8. Not only that but I read of some who had the UDP and ended up cancelling as they couldn't even get ANY reservations at the specialty restaurants
  9. I have Hooked booked and paid for (I'm solo) for night 2 on my upcoming Wonder cruise. Will ask when I get there if I can use my BOGO and eat at a later date in another venue. If they say no so be it.
  10. I assume they mean 2 hours prior to departure?? Modifying or Cancelling the Offer Guest may modify or cancel an Offer up to 2-hours prior to the cruise departure date, but only if the Offer has not been accepted by RCI and if the Credit Card has not been charged (the “Offer Period”). If Guest modifies or cancels the Offer during the Offer Period, the original Offer will be voided, and if applicable, replaced with Guest’s modified Offer. Voided or cancelled Offers will not be reviewed.
  11. Not sure I just know last time I bid which was before COVID I cancelled it once onboard. I have bid on my upcoming Wonder cruise and will cancel the day before most likely
  12. I always cancel mine the day of the cruise or when I get onboard. Once I'm on I'm not moving
  13. I was kind of dreading eating alone when I started travelling solo since it usually takes so long but in my case I have basically been in and out within a half hour which works for me as I still find it a bit awkward eating alone at dinner. For breakfast and lunch I bring my kindle but at dinner I have been imbibing beforehand and don't want to carry it around 😱 Usually the larger tables around me haven't even gotten their apps yet. Disclaimer I don't get dessert
  14. I met mine thru Cruise Critic on a cruise several years ago BEFORE he became a TA. He became one a few years after that
  15. The 2024 President's Cruise will take place on Oasis of the Seas on the June 23, 2024. The 7-night Western Mediterranean cruise will depart from Barcelona, Spain and visit Palma De Mallorca, Spain; Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy; Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; and Naples / Capri, Italy.
  16. Call him out on the video I think there's a place for comments isn't there?
  17. You can see the menus in the app. Pick a close in sailing with your same itinerary
  18. Yes I noticed it and also find it annoying even though I book thru a TA. When the Utopia first opened for bookings the only OV balconies that showed up were on deck 9 no matter what date I put in. Also not in good locations. Very frustrating even when just browsing. In the "old days" I could contact my TA with the cabin number that I saw as available, no longer can do that but he knows my cabin preferences😇 so all is good
  19. I'm 0/probably around 5 or 6 times. Only bid on suites and have a couple of bids in for my upcoming Wonder cruise that I am sure I won't win. Usually just bid a little over minimum.
  20. Like @OCSC Mike said check your prices. Assuming $700 is the starting bid and it's the Mariner I wouldn't bid on any of them. Not worth the perks for a min of $1400
