When I bought the wine package the price came out o $28 per bottle (including gratuities) with the 3* discount. For me, it was worth it not to bother with bringing wine onboard. -

I haven't seen that even on Caribbean cruises, that's too bad. The only time I saw a ball cap in a dinning room was in a specialty restaurant on Oceania. He was asked to remove it after short while.

Seems odd to me because those people over 1000 days probably have a great many photos with captains. How many could you possibly want and what would you do with them? I think it would be nice for 5* and lowest medallion people but after that?? -

We added ours at our initial booking because we knew when we booked what cabin we wanted for the upgrade. But others have added after booking too.

With Club Orange you (or your TA) call them and pick out the cabin you want right then. There is no waiting and you get to pick the cabin.

I think the most useful benefit is the cabin upgrade. You book the lowest cabin in a category, inside oceanview, veranda etc. and you can upgrade to any other cabin in that same category. I've only been on one cruise since the app was available but did have really great response time using it.

Yes, you can but from what I've read you do have to be proactive about it and ask once you're onboard.

But that's not entirely the case. Those "free" dinners are being paid for in part, by the cost of HIA. HAL is not giving them away for nothing.
