No deals for us either….our cruise is now $2000 higher than we booked for.

When you do MoveUp, I totally get that you don’t get the drink or internet package. What about the stocked refrigerator minibar and bottled water in the cabin? I’m guessing they aren’t included, but wanted to make sure before I asked the butler or cabin steward to clear the fridge out so we can stock it ourselves.

Since it’s quad occupancy I’m not sure how this is much better for double occupancy than many of the other “sales” they’ve been having all year. Am I missing something?
-
They’re all great, but definitely the 4 in the middle are a bit larger.

So who is getting ready to book for 2026/27?

Want to see what they’re offering for Australia for fall 2026. -
Cruise planner doesn't show upgrade to premium beverage option
Mauidiver replied to catspaw1's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I always print out the list of what I’ve purchased in the cruise planner … upgraded WiFi, upgraded rink package, excursions, specialty dining, etc. Even though I’ve never needed my print out, I’ve heard enough anecdotal reports to have it just in case. 😉 -
Not sure if this will be helpful or not, but we were on Zenith in June 1993 on a Western Caribbean itinerary and I believe our ports of call were: Grand Cayman, Playa Del Carmen, Cancun, and Jamaica (not in that order).

Kettles on Celebrity Edge ex Australia
Mauidiver replied to AussieChook's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I’ve seen cruise vloggers show they requested a kettle on Australian cruises and the room steward brought one. We plan to request one on our upcoming NZ cruise out of Sydney. -
I get that we’re discussing E class ships. I only mention the reservations piece for anytime dining because many folks here have said that the MDRs don’t take reservations and that it’s all first come first served. We enjoyed being able to make reservations and go to a separate line for those with reservations on Millenium last year vs walking up at any time and waiting for an available table.
-
I hope this means that reservations booked prior to cruising will be honored on E class ships as well.
-
IMO if you want a specific restaurant at a specific time, you’re better off pre-booking during a sale. There’s no guarantee that ship-board prices will be better or the time/day you want will be available.
-
We like alternating MDRs each night just to have a different vibe.

The only ones you can’t bring are the ones with surge protectors.

I have motion sickness issues and we have booked SV cabins for 4 out of 5 past cruises (one was last minute, so no SV available). I have only felt motion one time in an SV cabin and that was on Infinity in Alaska where we had 20’ seas and 30 knot winds and there wasn’t anywhere on the ship where you didn’t feel a lot of motion!

We always book sunset verandas and learned quickly that you definitely have to book WAY in advance to get one. I’ve also heard that because they’re so in demand that the likelihood of winning a move up bid into a suite is high.
-
That’s an itinerary we really want to do and strongly considered it for 2025. The unrest in the region had us decide to book a different cruise instead. We just didn’t want to risk that they would change the itinerary to one we weren’t excited about,

How far out is your cruise? My 2024 cruise has all of the days, but my spring 2026 cruise is missing days like what you’ve described, I also can’t access if through the app since it tells me it isn’t “ready.” I was thinking the missing days are because shore excursions haven’t been solidified for some ports nearly 2 years out and they’ll appear once we’re a bit closer to the cruise date. Not sure if that’s correct, but it made the most sense to me. 😉
-
We did the road up and the train back. The bus ride was literally across the valley from the train, so we didn’t miss anything going that way. Although the train ride was really pretty and a lot of fun, we didn’t feel we missed anything by only riding it one way.

Might have been a website glitch….theyre showing now.

You can always go to the Oceanview Cafe instead where there will be a lot more choices. 😉

I was going to say the same thing, “healthy eating” is very subjective. It could mean anything from strict carnivore to strict vegan….and everything in between! Tell us how YOU define healthy and I’m sure you’ll get some great answers pointing you in the right direction. Frankly, I find there are many varied options on the cruise ships and haven’t had any difficulty staying within the boundaries of my personal eating preferences, which many feel are very restrictive (though I don’t).

Considering Apex .. have some questions about SV...thanks
Mauidiver replied to room with a view's topic in Celebrity Cruises
SV balcony cabins are only on the aft of the ships. All of the decks you mentioned are good for them. Negatives would be long walks to the cabin and the potential for motion. Positives are large traditional balconies, quiet location, and gorgeous aft wake views. -
We were on deck 10 on Edge in an SV and when outside we could definitely hear when the party was rolling in the Sunset Bar. It was happy noise though so we didn’t mind. We always book the SV cabins as we love seeing the wake while sailing and really enjoy the views while in port as the ships often back in. They’re a trade off as it’s a long walk daily, and you might feel a bit more movement being aft.

Train from Seward to Anchorage airport - Celebrity cruise transfer
Mauidiver replied to ale2011's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It’s actually a standard gauge railway as it was converted many years ago to allow for standard freight cars.
