Just booked, but excursions sold out!
LvnCruisin replied to talljules1's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
We have been on many cruises where we turned tickets back in as we found something else that we really wanted to do, based off of what someone on the ship said to us or we were simply tired from travel or the day before etc. Tickets seem to can be readily available the day of. But put your name in for excursions when you get on the ship at destinations services. In the long run it's the vacation that always mattered to us. -
Regent Private Transfer in Venice
LvnCruisin replied to mrlevin's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
From whay I saw it was completely accessible. The busses pulled directly in front of the terminal. We had been to Venice several times so would have liked to have tried to go directly into Trieste, I do remember several people on our ship who said that is what they did. They stayed in Trieste and did private transfers. This was 18 months ago so not sure if you can still do that, but I would be checking into it. -
Regent Private Transfer in Venice

Yes, we sailed out of Trieste a couple of years ago. The OP was talking about transferring to Trieste not to the terminal in Venice. -
Regent Private Transfer in Venice
LvnCruisin replied to mrlevin's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
We did a bus from Venice to Trieste. We have already decided that if we go out of Trieste again we will just fly in there - 4 less hours at the airport in Frankfort (we had a 9 hour layover there) and 2 less hours on a bus the next day. -
Shareholder Benefit (and other OBC)
LvnCruisin replied to blueexpedition29's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Ok, I've tried searching how many shares do I need and what will I get from them, meeting with our financial advisor soon. Realy would like to invest. -
Personally I will not waste my dollars on another massage until they have a different provider. On our last cruise I booked a couples massage (prior to the cruise) for my dh and myself - I made it very clear that I could not have a deep tissue massage because of a back injury. I reiterated it prior to the massage, I eventually stopped the massage after several times explaining that they were hurting me. When I left the spa they actually had the nerve to ask for a larger tip. I was a fan when it was Canyon Ranch, but don't like the newer company.

Adding Hilton status to pre-cruise hotel
LvnCruisin replied to MarEll1's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
My husband did this with Hilton on our last cruise out of Venice. We are diamond level and he called the diamond desk who called the hotel to make sure it was all on record. And while Regent is paying them, we paid Regent. -
I am usually one who will wear leggings with a long sweater, knee length or below. Sometimes a dress at night. The only time I had issues with someone else's attire was our last cruise in the med, we had an "older" (75+ ish) who came to breakfast every single morning in see throug white leggings. The first couple of mornings my husband and I thought well maybe she doesn't know, but then it was quickly look away and try not to sit where she sat. I guess I take the attitude of to each their own.

That was my bad, we had booked a Penthouse and ended up with an upgrade to an Explorere Suite - probably why we got all 3 brands. Sorry for the misinformation.

We were on in May of last year - there were three different types - used every single one of them!, Bulgari, Guerlain & L'Occitane. And then there were the bath salts (do not remember what kind they were but they were amazing!

Never cruised…would Regent Mediterranean be for us?
LvnCruisin replied to Gray Lady's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
The first cruise I ever took was a Regent med cruise from Monte Carlo to Rome. We flew into France (spent a day there) and then took the train to the ship. Thouroughly enjoyed the cruise then a week in Rome. Could not have been a better experience for someone who had never been to Europe. It was enough to wet my appetite to go back and explore more later. The only cruise I have been on that I didn't enjoy was a river cruise. So honestly it is different strokes for different folks. Follow your heart on what you would like to get out of Europe, for an opener of course. -
Internet capacity on Regent
LvnCruisin replied to bluestocking7's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
We did a med cruise last spring, what I found interesting (from an IT perspective) was where our internet connection showed that we were connecting from, Florida! I can look to see who is connecting to our system and from where, during the 14 days I connected from Florida 12 of those days. -
Navigator 2022-23 Holiday Cruise Round Trip Miami

I was the wench (twice) my husband was the grinder and we all loved the bartender! -
I don't think anyone ever said they don't have it, I just think most of us are so relaxed on vacation that we don't pay that much attention (ok the bloody marys don't help with this either). I would ask your TA to find out before I would ever bring my own.

Yes they restock, as many times is necessary. You don't even have to ask, as a bottle got towards the bottom our Butler refreshed it with a new bottle.

Post-Cruise/Pre-Flight Covid Testing
LvnCruisin replied to CookingChick2020's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
That may be, on our cruise the tests on the ship were performed the day before we got to Barcelona, you could choose morning or afternoon - I believe the last test was at 5 pm. -
Post-Cruise/Pre-Flight Covid Testing
LvnCruisin replied to CookingChick2020's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
We brought 3 extra emed tests with us ( one extra in case something happened to one of them) some testing places are more strict about making sure the box hasn't been opened before they start the test. But you can find a pharmacy and test there as well. If you are more than 24 hours from your flight you can't safely test on the ship. -
There were about 6 of the N95 masks in our suite when we sailed at the end of April.

There is an area on the bottom of the ticket where you can give special instructions. From the few things I asked to be done, the instructions were followed.

How should I report a problem with a shore excursion?
LvnCruisin replied to Pudgesmom's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
As to when comment cards come out, we just got off. Our mid-cruise card came out on day 2, I refused to answer it until the actual "mid-cruise". Interestingly we were contacted about a comment we made about the issues with tenders. End of cruise comments were first asked for about 3 days prior to the end of the cruise. They have the link listed in the daily passages. -
Are flights decent when Regent sets it all up?
LvnCruisin replied to Tampachick's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
We did it at about 65-70 days out. This was for an end of April cruise. Ask your travel agent. We did it just before the final payment was due at 60 days out. If we couldn't pick the flights and seats we were going to cancel. But I think we were lucky as we hadn't made final payment. I'm sure Costco will be different.
