Carnival has always listed the cruises as either partial or full transit. All the new listings have changed (2024 forward) to showing Colon and Limon with excursions. Is that different? Are there no more partial transits where the ship will go into Gatun Lake with Carnival?

No one has mentioned Breakaway. Going on it April '24. Was planning to do that instead of Vibe. Any suggestions or comments about that option?

Is that as easy as a phone call? I posted the same question a while back .... hubby wants to zipline (prob an ID/ waiver issue), I do not. It makes no sense he couldn't use "my" 50 buck credit. Thanks for the suggestion.

As far back as I can recall PB4 has always been refundable, and the name might be the month or some catchy title they give it. Not to say that's still accurate, just explaining the past.

It may not be the EXACT combination of spirits that used to be promoted as the Day One "Fun Ship Special" but the Pirate Punch that's available shipwide is basically the same drink.

Has anyone booked since the weekend website chaos? I had one on hold during that time period. I let the hold expire but did not get the usual email stating the expiration. Then I reheld it while I debated cabins. Again no Cruise on Hold email, and then I decided on a different catehory of cabins so I cancelled that one and now have the one I want on hold. Again ... no cancellation email nor confirmation of hold. I'm almost afraid to pay the deposit in case the system isn't really recognizing new booking or cabin choices. Anyone else missing emails since the weekend upgrade?

I have a casino offer for Alaska that goes fully through the 2025 season. I think it's been there less than 2 weeks.

We've done Quest twice. Once in 2019 and again last month on the Glory. It is indeed the same type of Quest as pre-Covid. Have also done that Adult Game night twice ... not going back. Its just adult themed trivia. But Quest .... well, if ya know, ya know!

I want to book the zipline at GSC for my DH but the $50 shore excursion credit is tied to my name as the "first guest." Is the actual ticket tied to a name? It makes no sense to book under his snd pay $50 more when he's the only one doing the activity. Can I book under my name and then he can use the ticket?

Bringing an old thread back to life here. So when can dining be reserved on NCL? We have the two included upgrades plus will do the discounted extra two prior to cruise but when can reservations be made and will those reservations automatically be recognized in the system so we aren't charged when I try to book? NCL NEWBIE HERE. 🙂 TIA

Does NCL offer any tours to fill some time on debarkation day? Specifically looking for Miami in the Spring. All the port days have Shore Excursions already available but nothing shows up for the final day. We are new to NCL ... used to seeing options for a few hours after debarking prior to late flights.

We LOVE the Imax and wish more ships had one! We have seen the new Top Gun and Fantastic Beasts on two sailings on Horizon, and the theatre was full with people lined up to get in plus several shows sold out.

I can't say abt Mediterranean cruise on Carnival but the Pride last year doing Portugal, Spain, France had no special backdrops that were tied to the cities that I recall. Just typical cruise backdrops.

Make your changes BEFORE the final pmt due date or you will then be in the percentage based cancellation period and will lose a CHUNK of change. For now, you should get back everything over the required deposit excluding whatever the nonrefundable portion was of the deposit or the 50 pp change fee.

Have you paid more than the initial deposit? Some are non-refundable BUT you can transfer some (or sometimes all) of what you've paid toward a different date. Some customer service reps will give you a waiver of the typical fee (often 50 pp but casino rates are sometimes more). You just need to call and see what rate code you booked under and where you are on the final pmt/cancelation chart to determine what you can get back or move.

Speaking of South Beach ... is there a reasonably priced hotel you would recommend? We have a full day and night pre-cruise and usually stay at the airport area for convenience but this next time (December) we want to try a day of exploring around South Beach.

Does anyone know what time the last tenders are in Cabo on Panorama 8-day routes where the ship leaves Cabo at 7 pm?

Not to hijack the thread, but are Deck 9 cabins spared from the soot problems? They appear to have a ceiling over them from Lido above. Just wondering as we are booked for 2024. Thx!

Just off the Glory 7/16 sailing. The aft pool was under renovation the first 2 days (real renovation, way more than cleaning). After that was reopened and the signs appear to be permanently affixed to hot tubs and at pool. ADULTS ONLY.

Same on Glory.

Fourth floor is right above a busy, noisy interior deck. The 8th floor is under loud Lido. Pick your poison! I'd map out exactly where the two cabins are to see what would be above/below your cabin.

Do you know if the "secret" hot tub is still in the fitness area or has it been removed?
