Favorite part was the race they had to the top of the rock. Enjoyed watching the teams compete and answer the questions along the way. I’m not surprised that Brett didn’t want to go to the Fantasy Suite (or whatever they call it on the show). Looking forward to next week’s episode now!

Every time we have re-fared a cruise the shareholder OBC falls off the booking and we’ve had to resubmit it again. This has happened to us several times.

I enjoyed it too. I thought the second episode was much better than the first. I thought the challenge they did was fun and yes I was surprised by some of the numbers.

This is of interest to me as I’ll be on the Royal in November and January. Sad to see what they’ve done with the Caesar salad. We cruise next month and if we have the same concoction my plan is to order the Caesar salad and ask them to hold the kale and chickpeas. Dressing on the side and also a shrimp cocktail and hold the sauce. I love Caesar salad with shrimp so on a cruise I always make my own.

As others have said we love the M6 cabins too on the Royal Class ships. For us they feel like a smaller full suite with a very large balcony. We’ve stayed in L107 on the Majestic and have L107 booked on the Royal in November and January. Since there are only 4 cabins available on the Royal class ships they are hard to come by so if you can book one you should. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

When you go into Cruise Personalizer it’s under the “Summary” tab. If you scroll down on this page you will find “Plan Your Voyage” and “Bid to Upgrade Your Stateroom”.

Are you in one of the M6 cabins? We have L107 booked on the Royal for our November and January sailings. From your photos I’m thinking you’ve got one of the cabins on the Marina deck. BTW I’ve booked 2 cruises through LG and I’ve been very happy with the service. I hope you have a great cruise!!!

There are CC mini suites on the Discovery. They are located on decks 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 (M1 and M6 categories).

Thanks so much for your excellent commentary about your sailing. I’m really enjoying your posts! Do you know how deep the retreat pool is? Are there many people in it when the ship is sailing or is it usually to windy? We are on the Royal in November and January and can’t wait for our sailings.

This is my favorite show on Princess. If you can find a sailing that has this show I would highly recommend it. Last year we did a B2B sailing for 14 days and I saw the show 4 times. We went to the early show to see it each week and then went back for the late show after it started to watch it again since the theater wasn’t full. We were only sailing at 60% capacity so it was easy to see it twice in a night as the theater wasn’t at capacity.

There is no need to dress up on formal nights if you are going to eat in the buffet. You will be dressed perfectly for the buffet in leggings & t-shirt. There are many people who don’t dress up on formal nights and instead eat in the buffet or specialty restaurants. You will not feel out of place walking around the ship in casual attire on a formal night. I enjoy the variety of options offered on Princess in the buffet and being able to get exactly what I want to eat.

I emailed my request to Princess on 8/5 and the OBC was posted tonight. I did receive a notification from Princess that didn’t specifically say the SB was posted but it was an updated copy of my booking confirmation. When I opened it I could see that the OBC had been added to my booking. This is for a cruise in November. The whole process took 10 days.

We use this same TA as well for escorted departures. So convenient to get picked up in Sun City Roseville and dropped off at the pier. Got another booked with them in January.
