  1. They do for the package but not very often and only on select cruises. I also have never seen a good deal on the non alcoholic package. On August 7 of this year, I had cruises booked for Aug and Dec 2023, and , April and December 2024. Someone posted about a 50% off upgrade to premium. The only cruise that qualified was the December 2024. I think it ended up being about $9.99 plus $2 gratuity per person per day but we jumped on it. Most days when we have standard, we just skip the Pellegrino and our over the package price is usually not more than $10-$20 per day so not worth it at 5-10% off even at 50% off we just can indulge a little more than we normally would do and it doesn't save us too muchy.
  2. We booked the resort world in Bimini when it was $29 per person. We are also goin in December. For now it is a placeholder reservation that I am not sure if I want to keep or not.
  3. Even when you book with a travel agent you have the option to go to celebritycruises.com and then upcoming trips and manage my trip and book the air that way. You pick the flights that work for you. I looked at one on NCL and they had a price but you didn't get the details on the flight (and wouldn't know if you get a free luggage or not or pre assigned seat etc) until later when it was too late to cancel). I didn't like that process at all.
  4. Premium package (without any promotions) is $109 pp/pd plus tip if you don't already have the classic beverage package. So the $24 is giving you the benefit of having the AI package. The lowest I have seen the premium package has been 50% off so still about $55 plus gratuities if you don't already have the classic package. I don't think it is worth it as I hardly drink at all and while my husband likes pelligrino with dinner and dogfish 90, he will skip the premium water and pay the difference for his beer and still only spend less than $150-200 over a week long cruise.
  5. If you order 1 set of 4 cards they are all for the same 2 game session. So if your cruise is having 2 separate sessions on different days and you want two cards per session you would have to buy 2 sets of 2 and make sure when you go to pick up the cards that you only pick up the ones you want for that session. When you pick up the cards they are activating those cards for that particular session. You can't break up a set that you purchased into 2 sessions.
  6. Yes but if you buy it for one device for both of you the 2X's pricing on 1 device (for each person) is significantly better on the current sale. You would each have a different log on based on your room card.
  7. It has been pulled and has been replaced by sirloin on the kids menu.
  8. That is how ours was too. I paired it with lamb. The lamb was tough and not that good. The lobster tail was ok-good but not enough food for a main course.
  9. most of this topic is changing from refundable to non refundable. I don't think you can switch from non refundable to a refundable. I know that when you apply a non refundable air credit to a refundable one the portion that was non refundable remains non refundable and only the new money becomes refundable.
  10. On my last cruise in June there was a fairly large sign at guest services on day 1 and day 2 saying there were no cabins available for upgrades or changes with the implied so don't even ask.
  11. They don't discount the AI on guaranteed cabins. The AI price is likely the AI price when it was at full list price. They do discount the AI cruise only. So either pick a different category to add AI or don't add AI and rely on the flash sales to add drinks and internet paying the tips yourself.
  12. I was told that some sale prices combine with the elite discounts but most do not. The pretty standard 10% pre cruise did seem to combine with the elite discount but anything greater than that. I booked during the 40% off sale so that was better than using the elite discount.
  13. Last minute cruises sometimes have deeply discounted cruise only fares but the AI fares are the same if not slightly higher than ones you can find when you book early. This time last month I booked a Alaska cruise and while I missed the memorial day 50/40/30% drinks, internet and excursions I was able to get those on the 4th of July repeat. I doubt there will be another sale with those discounts until possibly labor day or black friday/ thanksgiving. Keep up with this forum and check on celebrity at least every few days to see if you can catch a sale. Don't forget that not only do you have to pay for the beverage package for one passenger, you have to have the same package for both if you are in the same cabin. In some cases with medical documentation you can get one classic or premium beverage package but you would minimally have to get the zero proof for the other passenger. If the cost is much higher than what you would drink you may want to consider for this cruise to forgo the package, Bring a 12 pack of assorted non alcoholic beverages and a decent bottle of wine for each adult and a la carte as you go. It would likely be less than the $1800+ beverage package for 2. Hopefully you were able to get $200-$600 in onboard credit that can go toward gratuities, internet and some drinks.
  14. The promotion doesn't show up when booking. It shows up in plan my cruise under beverages and packages. Not every sailing includes the promotion and I guess you wouldn't be able to tell until after it is booked and shows up in your upcoming cruises.
  15. I am not surprised that a non refundable form of payment is actually non refundable. I am surprised that it doesn't convert to a non refundable (future) cruise credit and has to be immediately applied to another booking.
  16. I see you are in the UK. Where would you think that most of the ships should be in the winter or at least where else do you think they could fill ships in the winter?
  17. I know I would prefer Coco Cay over Nassau. I also like that the drink package works on Coco Cay so a beach day with beverages doesn't sound bad. Even without the beverage package, free beach club entrance with basic chairs, a basic lunch and ice tea sounds good to me. No I don't want a day at sea, coco cay and a day at sea and return home but as a low key stop with inexpensive or free options is a winner in my book./
  18. Is it correct that you can't use HAL OBC for any pre cruise purchases like dining or excursions? It didn't look like I could, but I might have been missing something.
  19. My experience, only one HAL cruise but it was last month, was that the OBC did not show up pre cruise. Other cruise lines do but not my experience with HAL. I didn't prepay gratuities, so I knew if nothing else I could use the OBC on that.
  20. I didn't see anything in June either. There aren't offers every month.
  21. When someone here posts that one is available see if you can use the link and put your CC# and watch the video. Sometimes I get the emails and others times not. I just check these posts at least once a month and then I know to find one. I have earned 10 nights total in the last 6 months with pup.
  22. No not a currency issue. I tried calling and after 30+ minutes also trying to use additional Captains club discount, I was told it was glitching the agent said to give it 10-15 minutes and then book online and I would be able to get the sale plus the Captains club discount (which I knew wasn't true). I tried back later and it looked like it would go all the way through with the $$286.93 fare so I thought I would try calling again. This time after about 20 minutes the agent insisted that the 10% off the regular package price was the best discount I could get and that he saw no 20% pre cruise discount that was eligible to be combined. I did get irritated at this point because a simple the CC discount can't be combined would have prevented so much wasted time. I go back to book online at 20% and again it keeps showing me 20% discount and then sometimes on the next screen goes to 15% discount sometimes stays at 20% but then by the time it makes it into my cart is showing a 10% discount only.
  23. It even shows that I ordered something for $286 but then charged me for $321. The view order details just takes me to the page showing I purchased for 10% discount at at cost of $321
