  1. Ah, my mistake. Either way, at least they seem to be making good on it if you contact them.
  2. I think that’s what @lisabucsfan1 literally just stated, the email has been updated to be more clear. Many/most in this thread have had success receiving the credit on existing bookings by contacting Virgin. Now, how do I get this survey??
  3. Seems to be noon to 5ish on sea days and opens later on port days. They also provide snacks to Richard’s Rooftop.
  4. Last year they did have some Christmas/end of year holiday decorations but it was pretty limited. Based on @cantgetin mentioning specific Halloween events maybe this year will be a little better.
  5. Deck 16/17 aft are usually very quiet. Deck 7 outside between the dock and mid ship is a personal favorite. Had many a hard nap on the deck loungers there. Sip is usually quiet during the day
  6. It comes from the bar tab because it's charged at the Sip bar by the server. If you book something through the app it never comes from bar tab, that's the easiest way I've been able to tell the difference. For instance, the Grog Walk is paid in the app so does not come from bar tab.
  7. Supposedly one set per cabin. We found, however, that on our most recently sailing we both received the $10 coffee credit and premium WiFi. Not sure if that’s supposed to happen or not, it didn’t originally. Still only one $100 bar tab but others have mentioned getting 2 in one cabin so it seems to be inconsistent.
  8. We really enjoyed Another Rose, I know it’s a little controversial that you have to pay for it but we would do it again. We were “front row” and it was fantastic to be that close to the action. If you’re not a drinker I can see the price being hard to swallow as there are a lot of drinks included but would otherwise highly recommend it.
  9. I thought it was quite specific, make sure you get to the Deep Blue Extras section on this page. https://www.virginvoyages.com/sailing-club#deep-blue-extras
  10. Having eaten at the Wake on all 3 ships, I concur that the experience on Resilient was far better than the other two. Not sure if it was because it was new, lessons learned, or luck. Guess we’ll find out when we go back on Valiant in December.
  11. It’s based on the email address of the second sailor. I’d to provided at booking, when you login to the app you can put in the booking number and link it and then it shows up on the website.
  12. Pink Agave, Extra Virgin, and Razzle Dazzle also have bars where you could likely easily walk up as a solo and have dinner as well.
  13. That is the best part in my opinion, it’s just dollars to spend. No need to buy for everyone in the cabin. I think it also allows them to keep their drink program flexible whereas other lines have to keep everything to generic swill to maximize their profit from each drink.
  14. Yes, Free Label is great! We also saw them in 2021 on Scarlet and then again on the Resilient maiden voyage. We were considering booking some or all of the trip to Australia and kind of kicking ourselves for not doing it. We are instead “settling” for Valiant in December
  15. my wife never leaves home without salt for just that reason - never know who was licking the shaker prior to your meal!
  16. Sun Club near Richards Rooftop has poke bowls that are awesome, not always busy because it's a little out of the way. Tea is at Sip champagne bar
  17. The difference is if you pay in the app or at the venue. Afternoon tea is paid at Sip directly so it comes from bar tab. If you pay before sailing or in the app onboard it never comes from bar tab.
  18. There are different rules for service animals on ships depending on your destination as well so would highly recommend calling Virgin to understand that process.
  19. From other threads here it seems like buying full bottles from the bar now requires them being opened to prevent (or at least make it more difficult) to take them home with you so keep that in mind.
  20. When you add payment method during check in it shows that option.
  21. I've only ever logged into the app once on land, you shouldn't have to login every time you board the ship. There was a change to the WiFi (on Resilient at least) that has made connecting to the internet significantly smoother so hopefully that is going to all of the ships. We didn't have to pay for premium and then be reimbursed like in the past it just "knew" we had Deep Blue and the only option was free premium, one click, super easy.
  22. There is speculation that Brilliant will have a change in the lifeboats which could impact the size of the balconies on deck 8, but no need to worry about that at the moment!
  23. I read elsewhere that they were advertising the 2024 Celebration cruise on this sailing burnout of Miami next year.
