  1. But we all know that random purchase will not be a tote bag - your spiffy CO bags would not allow that to enter your house. And it surely could not be left in the car, thus keeping its existence unknown from said CO totes, to potentially slide under the seat where it would live out its life like a 🍄
  2. They are now using SheerID to confirm military eligibility as well as AARP. We don't have to resubmit each year for DH military, but I do have to call and ask it get added. They look it up and then it shows up.
  3. An optimal solution would be for HAL to sell HAL gift cards onboard like Carnival does - then we could all just use non-refundable OBC to buy the gift cards. Win-win-win-win: HAL ensures (mostly) future bookings, we get real value from OBC, no loading up on overpriced stuff, we have a head start on next cruise or can gift them to others.
  4. Thanks for the update - happy to hear you have closed out that trip. Are you able to say the insurance company name? And if it's one that has different levels of coverage, which did you have?
  5. Isn't every day bosses day? Seems like it some days w/all the emails and calls, lol. Had great, good and forgettable bosses through the years - the good ones sure make life easier, the bad ones sure make the days long. Hope the people I've managed put me on the good list. Pasta - yay! I know I have something gaudy - won't be wearing it today, but will support those who choose to do so, they deserve their day, too. I like the quote. Pass on the meal and drink, would try the wine, not been to French Polynesia. Marconi's accomplishment is worth noting. 45° headed to sunny 75° and 90° on Sunday. Nice to feel the nip in the air. Trying to find time to go do Intl DL app today. They're only open 9-5, so it will really be a challenge to get DH in there. We've paid for the 4x4 excursion in Corfu and would be disappointed to cancel because he can't get his intl DL. Finally got the GO pre-paid cards ordered that the CU recommended and Fed Ex says they'll be here tomorrow 11-3. It was a real hassle to order them and it made me fund them w/a cc instead of my checking account - that is not what we expected or want to do, but at least they're on the way and I can deal w/the funding/reloading options later. We leave in a week, so I just needed to get the cards headed my way. Shoulder hurts worse after PT and Chiro yesterday and foot is still numb; makes me question my commitment to both, ugh. And I think 5 weeks and growing is too long for numbness - at what point does someone else need to look at it? Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  6. Whatever method you ultimately use, you can also purchase a fast track for getting through the security line at FCO that might help give you a little cushion. https://www.romeairports.com/fiumicino_en/fast-track.html
  7. Who knew humble little oyster crackers could ignite such conversation! I love 'em straight out of the bag by the handful, the way some people eat 🍿 🍿. I like to smusch them til they pop, lol. They're the only crackers I use in chicken noodle soup and chili. As much as I like them, DH cannot stand them.🙄 Wonder if there's a National Oyster Cracker Day?
  8. Knew this was coming and have been eagerly waiting to read your comments and see Patti's pictures. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
  9. Have you tried calling them? You may not be able to do it online, but they should be able to do it on the phone. While their recommended cities pre-populate online, I have been able to change the cities
  10. Extra prayers and positive thoughts for @NextOne as you go into your procedure tomorrow and @57redbird DH as he goes into his procedure later in the week.
  11. I like dictionaries; my cat thinks every day is his day, being global cat day, I remember how they seemed to be everywhere in 🇬🇷; just got a new card because it was compromised, so I did my cutting up early - please no more cutting this close to a trip. I don’t think I like the quote, but won't put any more thought into it. Yes on the meal and wine, pass on the drink, have not been to NZ. The day in history was important for Catholics and the Disney boys sure changed the world in their own right. 46° headed to 68° - yay for a fall day!! Sat forecast is 90°. Friend wants to drive Vespas 🛵 during our upcoming cruise, so I have to squeeze passport photos for international driver license into the schedule. That has me rethinking our Corfu 4x4 excursion w/DH - is he driving the 4x4? 🛻 If so, he needs an international DL, too. We leave in less than 2 weeks - hope there's time. Will be making a trip to CU to see if they can help w/the GO card since I am not able to order it online. My shoulder sees both PT and Chiro today - I may go along to hear for myself what they say 🤔 Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  12. How far out is your next cruise? It may too early. Or you may need to log out then back in for the new itinerary to load.
  13. You're probably right they're looking for a pair and just too inconsiderate to reply to you. Sorry...
  14. Awe, Sweetest Day - made me smile. Like the quote, pass on the meal, don't know the drink, would try the wine not been to French Guiana. Currently 50°, headed to 68° and back to 90° for the weekend, ugh. Still haven't been able to get a Go pre-paid card the credit union recommends for the Rome cruise - it just throws me into a loop asking for the card number when I don’t have one yet. I was told I cannot order one in the branch, it has to be done on their website, but I'll go Mon and see if they can help me. We leave in less than 2 weeks and it usually takes that long to get a card. I'm already stressing about the pickpocket situation and if I can't get the card, it may push me over the edge. Ugh... Navigator App started acting wonky yesterday so I uninstalled it w/plans to reinstall it. The universe had other plans. Now I'll have to print boarding passes and hope they can get it installed on the ship. Unless I can find an older version to install. So that's on my list for today. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  15. Navigator was acting "wonky" so I uninstalled it today - used it yesterday to look up some things for upcoming cruise later this week and it worked fine, but today it was just glitchy. So, with a cruise starting g in 14 days, I decided to re-install it. This is what I just got...
  16. There are multiple threads full of numerous reports of frustrated people (myself included) who all too frequently cannot access either the website or some area of it. And yes, it does seem to be worse on the weekends. And no, clearing cookies/cache, changing browsers, going incognito, using different device (phone, tablet, computer), using different OS, blah, blah, blah, does not resolve the issue for any real length of time. Bottom line, it is an ongoing issue that is costing HAL $$ and frustrating passengers. And is really easily remedied. Please help!!
  17. Hi, yes, he probably would enjoy that better. However, we aren't porting in Naples, we port in Salerno and have to make the trek from there. I know he will enjoy it and be glad he went once it's over and he's recovered from all the rest he got on the bus, lol.
