  1. At the risk of being called "nasty", have you checked with your travel insurance company? There may be some wiggle room in the details given this somewhat unique situation. Unlikely, but worth a shot, right?
  2. Are you asking to just "get in", or get a seat? Those venues, Syd's, Cavern Club, etc., are the same on every ship. If you're not there 30-45 min prior, you're not getting a seat. If you just want to get in, we've found it rare that you can't.
  3. I honestly can't imagine a better time; spring break, maybe.
  4. Yes, if it isn't sold out. It will be the first item available under Entertainment on the app.
  5. Other than one ship of Royal Caribbean, what lines have completely cancelled a cruise?
  6. There is a reason other than cost that it's being eliminated. It's just not very good.
  7. Not to keep piling on, but as you can see, few do. And what business sense would it make for NCL to cancel a cruise if they can find an alternative? That would be ludicrous.
  8. I'd love to try a Cunard TA someday, if I can find my jacket and tie... 🙃
  9. No, they aren't all wrong. I read reviews to look for common threads and things to expect. I wouldn't change anything based on reviews, but just be prepared. Breakaway does seem to be getting pounded lately. Personally, I choose the Breakaway Plus class ships, and would go for the smaller classes if I want something different.
  10. I'm done having a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
  11. Or, they've been on 658 cruises, so blah, blah, blah. The 1-star reviews seem to be nothing more than entitled Karens without a clue. The same ones who are at Guest Services complaining that it's raining in Alaska, and they want a refund because their cruise is ruined!
  12. Why should a cruise line put a freaking roller coaster or go-kart track on a ship?! Because that is what their demographic wants. What do you care?
  13. Can't speak for DC, but I don't. Some of the glowing, everything was perfect, I wouldn't change a thing, reviews just defy reality.
  14. I'm picturing a whole bunch of sleep deprived NCL employees throwing up their hands and rolling their eyes at that statement.
  15. Someone seems to be going off the deep end here. Who are you talking about? No person can control what others wear, only the cruise line can.
  16. What did NCL or your TA say when you asked them?
  17. Isn't that like saying "I'll never do a b2b because we'd be in Miami twice"?
  18. Man, you're pulling out all the stops today! 😆 (Sorry for the medical thing. I'm there too, but I save all my naughty days for cruising.)
  19. Amen. If I cruised only on ships that didn't have bad reviews, I wouldn't cruise at all.
  20. A shame you don't know what that squiggly red line means. It has a purpose.
  21. So, you stiff everyone you don't see. The ones who do all the real work. Nice.
  22. Not exactly. It gives you a dropdown list with 4 options: Passport, Birth Certificate, Naturalization Form, or a Born out of Country document. Any of these is good for proof of citizenship, but nowhere does it say that these are the necessary documents for taking the cruise. The two are not related, as others have been trying to point out.
  23. This is not a good sign. Every web browser is different, and it can be difficult to find where this option is. Clearing cookies and cache should be done on regular basis as it can cause problems (like this) and certainly slows down your computer over time. Do have any friends or family that can help you out?
