  1. @D&N Yum! Comte is a cheese we always have on hand. I bet that will be wonderful. Enjoy 🤑
  2. Exactly what I found. Very disappointing
  3. Interesting that I can’t find this on YouTube.
  4. @tacticalbanjo I’m so glad you are enjoying the craft meet up. I also crochet and the meet up is a highlight for me. How many are participating? I certainly hope no one is causing you grief for being a crocheter rather than a knitter.
  5. On the topic of cats. I don’t know if it is broadcast outside of the U.S., but there is a competition called, Lego Masters. On the first episode, season 4, they have to build a house for a kitten filled with toys to keep the kitten happy. I’ve watched it 3 times because it is grandson #2’s favorite. A dozen darling kittens being darling kittens for an hour. No, we will not have another cat, we will not have another cat..think cat box..
  6. I just finished reading Lost Horizon and I was all set to watch the movie but trying to decide which version. But DH read about the movie versions and I’ve decided I’m not going to watch either.
  7. @MrsPeel55 Sitting here now hand quilting and watching The Gilded Age and my head popped up at the references to Cunard.
  8. @ronpes If you liked “All the light…” be sure to read the book. As is usual, it is much better than the movie.
  9. @jam19872016 Hang in there! You can do this. Give yourself time and patience. It took a lot of days to put on that weight! Keep the water flowing and steps mounting. I find that when I deny myself everything good I end up bingeing. I allow myself one square of dark chocolate and it suffices. But it has to be quality chocolate! I was having real cravings for those cakes you posted until you, or someone else, pointed out they really didn’t taste that good. That was all I needed to hear to stop the desire. Only eat what tastes really good and only eat until you are no longer hungry. You can do this!
  10. My apologies @majortom10. My intention was so say it could be read quickly.
  11. Maybe @majortom10 took those speed reading courses back in the 70’s @Victoria2.
  12. I can assure you that I, @NE John and @exlondoner would not cheat. At least I’m sure NE John wouldn’t but sometimes I wonder about exlondoner. 😉
  13. @exlondoner and @david63 You two and your pineapples. 😇
  14. Beautiful photos of QM2. I’m reminded how the same subject becomes art when seen through the lens of a really good photographer. Thanks for posting the link.
  15. @jam19872016 Take the picture below and post it in the Cunard Forum on the thread “Where in the World.” People guess where the picture was taken.
  16. @NE John I have to get out the kitchen aide and grinder today to make the cranberry relish for Thanksgiving. You grind cranberry’s with onion and add horseradish and sour cream. It is frozen until just ready to serve. No one has touched regular cranberry sauce or jelly since I started making it a few years ago. I think the recipe is on line as Mama Sternbergs.
  17. @NE John Say it ain’t so this passengers of a certain age! There are many young people who are physically challenged also.
  18. @D&N They are so sweet and I’m glad they’ve bonded.
  19. I received 2 emails one for each of our booked cruises. The latest is December, 2025.
  20. @alibabacruisers What are the pirate precautions?
  21. Tips for Travelers is my go to on YouTube, but I really appreciate people who post videos of the cabins. I also like searching for videos of specific ports of call.
  22. @jam19872016 It only took one cup of coffee today to read through the new posts. 12 hour shift with lots of steps…I’m thinking you work in health care and you certainly will get lots of steps today. Don’t cut yourself too short of calories as you need the energy. Have a good day!
  23. @jam19872016 About to start coffee #2 after catching up with posts from last night. Thanks for the music update and have a good day at work. I will be listening to, catching up with, The Voice from last night.
  24. @jam19872016 Start drinking water immediately. You’ll drop several pounds quickly. It usually takes me a week to drop the weight I gain from a cruise. Too many cocktails in the Commodore Club and a full breakfast every morning. Have a good day back at work. Think of all of the great stories you’ll share! You really should think about writing a comical book about your adventures. Good Night from Seattle.
