  1. Wow! @rafinmd You were treated to a really beautiful sunrise this morning. I’m looking forward to your report on this portion of your cruise.
  2. @Lanky Lad Thought of you today as I watched the BBC show “Antique Road Trips” as they were in Lancashire. I am binge watching as I quilted and loving the lovely countryside. When I suggested we rent a car and drive outside of London to really see England I was met with, “No way I can drive on the wrong side of the road.” 🙂
  3. @HostHattie I’m wondering about the Penderyn Madeira Finish Single Malt.
  4. @Luv2Crus40 Thank you so much for posting this menu!
  5. Some of us can’t go on long cruises due to work and family schedules. Some of us can’t go on more than one cruise per year. I read the posts about the benefits of being Diamond, and I don’t think it is worth it, especially now that they’ve changed your wifi benefits. Meet and greet with the ship’s officers is not something I need anymore. Now give me reduced rates, or first pick at cabins and it might be worth it. Perhaps they need to learn from airlines and hotels.
  6. @david,Mississauga Thank you for that wonderful information! I hope it stays that way.
  7. I’m wondering is going to happen on the New York to Boston, with the stop in Halifax. Will people have to test prior to visiting Halifax?
  8. I want to hear from people who have done this voyage if it really is as cool as I think it would be? Someone on this thread said to go from East to West.
  9. @frankp01 This is good information. But, how will I remember it until we do the New England 4th of July cruise in 2023? I wish there was a way to book mark this useful information!
  10. @rafinmd I see you have a cruise date approaching. Have a great time!
  11. We did a great walking tour of Wall Street that included the Federal Reserve.
  12. @Jack E Dawson Thanks for answering my questions. Dancing over watercolor. We have a prenup that I won’t ask him to dance and he cleans the bathrooms. I just shake my head that the web site says we’re allowed to bring one bottle each on-board when that isn’t what they actually do. With my luck I’d take 3 bottles and they would confiscate them! Your news about your test was unsettling. How could a company know that people are signed up for a test, and that they need it to board, and not contact you? I’m glad you had a great cruise.
  13. @bellboy Hopefully not a dumb question from a first time Cunard cruiser…we are looking at the Commodore and Captain Wine collections. If we don’t order one of these, or even if we do, is there a wine list we can order from at lunch and dinner? Does it have additional wines or is the wine list a compilation of the Commodore and Captain collections?
  14. Jack, what a great report, thank you. Did you do the Watercolor class? How about the wine certification class? We made our hotel reservations for London and Southampton last night. Your wonderful narrative was fun to read aloud to my DH. Seems too long until December when we sail.
  15. Thank you to all for this information. I had wondered about the Cunard label. Chardonnay Viognier is a blend I haven’t tried.
  16. @rafinmd That is a stunning photo!
  17. @frankp01 I hope the hootoo works. Please let us know. Enjoy your cruises. edited for typo
  18. @lissie Glad to hear you’re feeling fine. Hope the letter makes things easier.
