  1. use this link: Flight connections | Airport information | British Airways and this sub link Which terminal | airport information | British Airways to verify which terminals you are arrive/leaving. I don't think you need to go through immigration since you are a transit passenger. there is also a bunch of info on most all airlines and hubs on Flyertalk. You can read up on Virgin there.
  2. My TA - I saw the email from SS and asked my TA to look into it.
  3. Correct 20% off plus the 500pp on previously booked p2p (non-ref deposit) Full payment now due jan 1
  4. As a follow up with the new 20% discount PtoP prepay. The repriced my fare and also had a 500 pp savings so my same SV cabin went from 17700 to 13160 for the 14 night may 29th Norway cruise on the dawn. Full payment due Jan 1st
  5. for up to seven months out of the year and up to 100 miles out at sea for most of the East Coast.
  6. I suspect you would enjoy a cruise on both. A little variety is good.
  7. This would have a huge impact on cruise ships on the east coast. 10 knots max. Do they even think when they make these proposals? Unintended consequences for sure! Biden administration boating proposal would be ‘greatest regulatory overreach’ of its kind, critics warn | Fox News

  9. I usually tip the porters around $2-3 per bag rounded up so usually $15 for 4 bags. Same at the airport. In Belize a little different because I know "my porter" and he helps me get through customs without issues. I tipped our butler last cruise as there were 3 of us in the PH and he did some extra things like decorating the room for DW's 60th and made arrangements for a nice B-day dinner at prime 7. In the UK and Ireland, I tipped about 10 bucks per person for good tours.
  10. also go to the ports of call boards for asian ports - you will get info also there. Asia Cruises Q&A: Find Tips & Recommendations - Cruise Critic Message Board Forums
  11. Depending on where you are e.g. Australia.
  12. Who is the cruise director on Explorer and will they be on for the cruise referenced here? On Australian cruises do they ever do tributes to say Bee Gees, or doubt it, but AC/DC?
  13. I used to take the ferry to Manley when I was there on business would arrive a few days early and enjoyed that ride and walk around Manley.
  14. 9 full sea days - DW might be an expert when we get done
  15. Amen to that - I can eat dozens and that would be my meals DW too! Actually hope they have steamed mussels one night!
  16. wow nice didn't realize that had oysters on some of the cruises - wish we had seen some on our UK/Ireland cruise.
  17. I looked at the pricing and said no way
  18. The took them on our regent splendor cruise around the UK and Ireland. I kept a picture of it on my phone. Was actually nice to not have to bring it along all the time. It was stamped when we got it back by Ireland.
  19. China ports will soon be like Russian ports. We have a HK-Tokyo on explorer booked for Feb 2024 - I suspect it will be modified to eliminate HK and Shanghai.
  20. Also need pre approval for certain prescription medications. HSA | Check requirements for bringing personal medications into Singapore
  21. We are doing the HK-Tokyo leg with the panda pre-cruise tour. I wonder what alternate ports they are putting or changing too on the 2023 cruises. I also wonder if they will cancel people or give a rebooking option on the new cruises the replace them with. China will soon be like Russia and cut off from travel.
  22. So I get the policy but what is the reason you can’t open all of them not that every cabin next to you is a companion. Is there some safety or security reason? I would bet that if they charged extra for it they would do it! Just a hunch.
  23. Just received an email from regent about bridge at sea. I've played awhile back and still play "euchre" (I know it's not bridge, just a simple man's version) but my wife hasn't. It says there are instructors on board, will they have a beginning type class or offering. Just curious I'd love to get her to play without having to teach her. It will be onboard our Auckland to Bali explorer cruise. Enjoy social and competitive Bridge play on more than 80 Bridge at Sea Voyages aboard The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet™. Sail to breathtaking destinations alongside Bridge Masters, who provide professional instruction and host games for all levels — in addition to being knowledgeable and entertaining professionals. Our ships are ACBL Certified, which means you can accumulate master points while cruising to the places you’ve always dreamed of exploring.
  24. Interesting - when we were on Splendor - It seemed to be physically possible to open up the connection. I wasn't aware there was a corporate policy on this? Any speculation on the reason it is disallowed?
