  1. As much as a I love Regent, my last cruise on the Explorer (Caribbean) had the coldest pool I had ever been in. When was the last time you had a sea day with temps in the upper 80s and not one single person in the pool? Several guests asked guest services and the deck staff to please heat it up and were given many different answers and responses but it never changed.
  2. I am hoping to do a live from thread...but we will see how much interest there is 🙂 @NCCruzQueen @What A Market See you in 3 weeks! Steve
  3. You need to use the roll calls to find fellow cruisers. There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for that sailing, but you can always start one. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/431-seven-seas-navigator-roll-calls/
  4. That’s very disappointing to hear. Hopefully Seabourn has received this feedback from many of their customers and can find a more suitable charter company.
  5. Both of Sulverseas Antarctica ships (Wind and cloud) were built in the 90’s. No comparison to the Venture. Jetsmart is a fairly new airline that has all new A320 planes, most less than 5 years. Im surprised to hear people say they aren’t maintained well.
  6. When I sailed on the PG, we also had a very late night flight. We booked a day room at the Tahiti Nui hotel. Only about a 2 block walk from the ship. Right in downtown near restaurants and shops and they have a nice pool. Rooms are basic but for the price it was perfect.
  7. Yes, this has already been established. I should have worded it differently, but was responding to the OP who was asking if she would be forced to. The answer as we all know is no.
  8. It will not automatically move to SM. You have the option to "upgrade" to SM or just keep your current booking as is. After July 1st, you can ask what the upgrade cost will be for SM.
  9. It was worldly Incorrectly. I meant you would have to upgrade to get SM, you will not be forced to. Fact, I would never post speculation without saying it was speculation.
  10. Sorry, maybe I didn’t word it right. You will NOT be required to upgrade to Simply More, it will be optional with prices available on the 1st. You asked if Oceania will require you to upgrade and the answer is no. It will be voluntary.
  11. This is correct. You will have 2 choices after July 1st. Simply More with air, and Simply More without air.
  12. No, they will not. You must upgrade to Simply More.
  13. “Regent Silver seas Voyager”? Was there a merger? 😁
  14. Thank you for the videos! We will be boarding Voyager in August for 14 nights and this is definitely helpful and adding to our excitement. Very Impressed with the quality of the videos and editing. As one of the “younger” Regent guests I envy your abilities!
  15. You are losing more credibility by the post. You changed several words from the actual letter in your original post. I have no issue with anyone being critical of a cruise line, just be fair and honest.
  16. Does anyone believe for a minute that Regent would write “regrettably, nothing will be done”? As mentioned, any issues on board are quickly responded to and addressed. Read the last sentence, it is grammatically incorrect. Obviously not a real letter from Regent.
  17. Wow, some very nice wines listed there. Much better selection than on our last Explorer cruise. Hopefully most of them will be available for us in August 🍷🥂
  18. It is right next to the dining and shore excursions tab when you in manage booking. You can select liquors, wine, beer, sodas, snacks, bedding and special occasions.
  19. I believe Regent is like Viking where port taxes and fees are all included in the fare, they don’t separate them. I have never seen the fees on my invoice. Therefore you would not receive any refund for the missed ports.
  20. Thanks for taking us along, it really did go by fast! Safe travels home.
  21. With so many ports close to each other In Norway you would think Regent could find a replacement. Such a beautiful area it’s a shame to have a sea day (unless it’s scenic cruising in the fjords). Hoping our Voyager cruise still stops there in August.
  22. @GeorgiaPeach51GP, I appreciate your honest, fair and definitely humerous reviews. I almost booked the Navigator for a Montreal-New York cruise this summer but with helpful reviews and a gut feeling I decided to book Voyager instead. I think it’s just a little too small for us. Look forward to reading about the last few days.
  23. Thanks for the positive report. Looking forward to our first trip on Voyager in August to Iceland & Norway.
  24. It was more of a retirement party for FDR than christening of the Vista. Only the last few minutes were about the christening. Not saying it wasn’t enjoyable, just making a statement.
