  1. Does anyone know I'd puzzles, mentioned above in post 14, are still being sold also? If yes, how much are they? Also, does anyone have a photo of a puzzle? Thanks
  2. Have you heard about when they will put up the Christmas decorations? Hoping they will be up for our Dec 9 sailing. Thanks
  3. Hahaha, thanks. Do you know if you can use the Fun Pass card to pay for that table? I got one for us all to share.
  4. Ok. I found that odd too, but then I remembered being told or reading here that dining packages don't show up in the cruise planner or on the app. That we have to book them via the actual website. So, I went to the website and did a bit of clicking to find it. When I clicked on add yo my cruise, the cruise planner opened but the dining packages still did not show up. Does anyone here know how to actually book dining packages in advance for Seascape using either the app, cruise planner site, or just the regular website? Although I will say that when I looked at the dining packages and saw how the restaurant menus are limited or fixed for dining packages, I became a little less interested in specialty dining. Will someone with experience on the dining packages for Seascape please speak about that also. For example, the menu options in the steakhouse are less if using the dining package. Thanks
  5. Have you noticed if the Top 19 Sundeck for Aurea guests has been busy? And, do they monitor entry into that area as much as they do the Yacht Club areas? Booked Aurea for upcoming cruise. What have you noticed overall about that area. Thanks so much!
  6. Thanks so much. But, I'm wondering if I am calling it the wrong thing. I didn't know that pool tables had lights on it. And $9 seems high, but I don't play it so I'm not an expert at all. My travel companion will want to play a bit. Sorry. Thanks so much for responding to my questions. I appreciate it. I will check out your pics whenever you are able to post them. Enjoy your day.
  7. Hi there, where are you looking for the dining packages? It's a bit odd, to me, how you have to find them compared to other cruise lines planner sites and apps.
  8. Thanks. This is great news that repairs have been made. It was sad to read that such a newish ship had damage already. Darn cruisers need to behave 😃
  9. Oh man. That's crazy. Are people still abusing the elevator key pad? Any news on the repairs to them and the glass for the Bridge of Sighs? Or, was it the other glass walk way that had the damage and was roped off?
  10. Thanks. Does that mean it is out of service or just covered when not in use? Sorry if that is a silly question. Just hoping it can be used in 3 weeks.
  11. Hi, was the pool table and billiards room moved to a different location for passengers to use? Or is it gone all together? I have someone sailing in a few weeks that would play. Thanks
  12. Woohoo! Looking forward to lots of pictures, videos, and reviews!
  13. Totally agree. I can't afford YC although some folks keep saying that it cost less compared to other lines. It's still more than I csn spend on a cruise. I enjoy my balcony cabin and feel proud of being able to book that. I have a good time in the "general population" and feel blessed to be able to cruise. Heading out on the Seascape in around 20 days, woohoo! Have a great time whatever you choose. 😊 Happy sailing
  14. Yes, I understood. I am wondering about sales, like a holiday sales impacting those prices. Like I'm booked on Celebrity right now as well and there are some slight price reductions on dining packages due to their Black Friday sale. Bigger discounts are on excursions for that sale. I've had that experience when sailing Royal as well. I know MSC is different, so I'm asking if any themed or holiday related sales sometimes impact pricing for excursions, dining, etc. Right now, I have all the cruises booked that I want, now I'm just booking all the add on stuff. Thanks 😊
  15. Hello All. We will be sailing on Seascape in mid-December. In the US, does MSC ever have sales on add on items like excursions and dining packages? I'm looking to book our excursions and wonder if there will may be discounts. Same for dining. Online I just see set prices and they have not budged. I've been checking for a while. Also, how do you all usually book specialty restaurants? We will just book Butcher's Cut. I've sailed MSC before, but did not do specialty dining and I booked tours private or while on the ship. Those were all solo cruises. This time is not solo so some of the planning is different. I love solo cruising, 😆 Thanks 😊
  16. Wow, that's crazy. I was looking at videos of the thermal suite on the Beyond to get an idea of what it might look like on the Ascent since we are booed on it in February. I was shocked that there is not a water feature in the thermal suite. I thought maybe it was just a design flaw for the the E series. It's crazy to read that this is true for all Celebrity ships. Wow. But, that's ok. There are other lines that have great thermal suites overall.
  17. To Celebrity, and all the other lines that have indeed increased prices as well, I guess cruising itself is a sign of disposable income. So, they are just assessing how much income folks are willing to spend while cruising. Must be a lot because ships are indeed selling quite full and folks are booked out into 2024 and even 2025. And, based on reports fr9m thr lines, folks are indeed spending quite a bit on thr extra stuff, not just cruise fares. Wow. Just wow.
  18. Hi there, I am new to celebrity, so I am not able to help with your question. But, I would like to ask you a question since you have sailed both and like both. How do you compare the two? I've never sailed on either. I sail with Celebrity for the first time in February on the Ascent. What are some of the differences between the two lines?
  19. Exciting!! 🛳 🚢 😊
