  1. Agree. I use a RCL TA for group rates, plus D+ and solo discount. Wish carnival perks included money off booking. Lol ..never happen. Though those ultra low rcl rates gone now too. Last of my under $100 a day solo. Agree carnival pizza better. Blue iguana about the same as fresh. Not crazy about either. I'll give carnival the nod for guys burgers. Fast food. No one is going to starve on a cruise one way or another. I want everything but not virgin prices lol.
  2. I see you are in Australia. Maybe it's a offer from your area, not here. I've never heard of a offer with hospitality. Maybe you mean a cabin steward?
  3. Is this a private excursion? Where can I purchase it?
  4. Nicer ship. I'm on the April 2025 ABC islands. I've noticed prices are going up for those too. I'm on Adventure out of PC. I wouldnt fly to colon to do these though, I'd pick another ship. Glad you made lemonade out lemons and found something you will enjoy.
  5. For what it's worth my experience has been with a flight booked with mi,es it's easy to cancel. Much easier than had you paid for itmregular. I'm so sorry this happened. They should at least offer some incentive to stay on this cruise considering where it leaves from. I got attached for saying rcl seems centered on profit a bit too much lately. Hurting themselves with pax. Hope you can cancel your flights and whatever and move on to something better.
  6. Your credit card will have already been charged, even if you didnt listen to the message.
  7. Friends I was sitting with at lunch were able to add me while I was sitting there easily. I think you hit the PLUS + button and maybe type in their cabin number or something. I was sitting there so I just gave him the cabin number so that's easy. Have their info before you do it.
  8. That doesnt sound right. The 2nd pax is the 2nd pax. Maybe the refared price just went up that much? The 2nd pax isnt considered the 3rd pax. Just doesnt sound right. Lol
  9. When you board, I'd go to a dining pedestal thing and ask if they can give you a earlier set time. They have done it in the past for me.
  10. If the udp pkg any drink up to $14. Idk if they do it as 2 or 1 drink, but shouldn't matter? But refreshment pkg is no booze. Would need the UDP. Or vouchers etc. Cant order a alcohol drink with refreshment pkg.
  11. To be clearer, 2 shuttles seem to be running. One down the port area to the staging area for the shuttles that go around coco cay. Do take a shuttle. I walked there and was too much for me in the heat.
  12. Yes you can call if you want the regular and she wants refreshment. There was hot chocolate at the cafe you can order. Ask for whipped creme if they dont add it.
  13. Yes its once per day per person. Everyone was doing their $20 or whatever the allowance is and then just starting another $20 tab and closing the first tab out.
  14. I think with the lunch you get 1 small and 2 large options. Plus dessert. I have it booked with both legs on b2b next month. For me I'm ok if only 4 pieces, but idk either. He can order 2 different sushi with the lunch. Plus soup or whatever. I'm doing soup, tempura veggies and shrimp, sushi and dessert.
  15. Yes it's very easy to cancel any planner item. Just go up into your purchase history, click on the item and hit cancel.
  16. Also sometimes you can book all the shows on the app except comedy. Comedy you had to go online for at least one of mine. We could book online for next month before on the app. .. I think I saw for bella1 online opened first. Check both. I was able to book all 5 shows for allure last week online. Used to be 4 but blue planet added for a 5th. Or whatever it's called. Havent seen it yet.
  17. Did you try the website via the planner? That's where I got all mine booked. Oasis class has been doing this since it came out over 10 years ago.
  18. I would go ahead and check him in. Just let him be a no show and his fees and taxes and anything else you bought in his name will be refunded.
  19. But if I remove someone with a nonrefundable rate the deposit is lost right? You cancel your nonrefundable deposit is gone. Cant be what the OP is wanting.
  20. Agree 10 am is late. I have been off before 8 am. By 10 am people are arriving for the next cruise. I'm guessing you knew the time was too late but the price was ok? It may be a wait but if you are ok with the wait, go for it. By 900 to 930 they are gathering the b2bers to walk them off and back on.
  21. Or be a no show. Wouldnt be the first time someone booked a fake pax.
  22. OP asked about harmony which is oasis class.
  23. I wanted to do the turtle center but I didnt see that excursion when I went last sept. Stingray city is considered the must do if you havent done it. Costa maya has a encounter which is not the same as swim with the dolphins. You stand there as a group and do hand signals. It's a group thing., be sure you want just a encounter not the swim with the dolphins. Keep expectations very low for the encounter.
  24. In order to drop them I'm sure you realize you would have to book a higher rate that is refundable unless you are booking a group rate. If it's a group rate, even if its refundable. What are the odds prices will be the same or lower when you want to refare the other 2 left in the cabin. You cant just drop them and not refare the other 2. I have a couple booked where prices have doubled, what then? Someone said do a kids sail free and add a kid, idk as rarely totally free. So they could book 3 and have a no show but you want a fare back, which is iffy at best the direction prices are going. No show you get the fees and taxes back if the fake 3rd person no shows. Check refundable rates, otherwise their deposit is gone to pay deposit for 3 and cancel 1. Sounds iffy to me.
  25. Lol I haven't seen it at $80 or $90. I think last black friday it was $99. After the sale was $149. Going up like everything else. What else but sorry. If enough people stop buying at these elevated prices, maybe they will drop.
