My sister cruised with me a lot. She takes seizure drugs. Just for safety I kept all but a couple of pills locked in the safe. Dont want to chance water getting spilled on them or whatever. Nothing was said to carnival.

I admit I start with date and price. I went to a site I cant name which shows prices. Fall 2025 ncl joy and some princess cruise came up the least out of PC. I've done 3 of each of these. I'm a idk. Maybe I'll do more last minute cruises. I'm assuming ncl joy is older from the price. I just want to cruise. I think carnival lines in general have the best last minute prices. It doesnt make a difference what you call tips. Just get me on the ship without me taking out a bank loan. Let me stay on as long as possible even better.

Not sure it makes sense but rcl has been cancelling water excursions in labadee. You cant leave the rcl compound. Kayaking jet skis sightseeing boat.. cancelled.

You also dont get the extra 1 pt for suite if you royal up. .though you probably know. That's why I wouldnt.

The contractor called me back and we agreed to what has to be done before I arrive. 2 lights, painting and cleaning. Hes like oh you will want the carpet shampooed, and this and that. Of course more $$$$ than I anticipated. But it needs to be done before I move my stuff in. Well the lights could wait. He gave me more suggestions on stuff to do when I get there. The mirror and counter in the wet bar. I'd almost rather tear it out, but that stuff can wait. It's a lot of sf. New appliance, idk about kitchen cabinets. Everything is in really good shape. He commented too whoever lived there took really good care of the place. That's what I think too. Cabinets look dated but in really nice shape. I'm very happy with this condo. Cant wait to get there. 2 more months!

Royal evidently doesnt want people straying that far from the island. I booked a boat that goes some along the coast. Did it once before but over 10 years ago. If still unsettled probably cancelled.

If its refundable then no problem asking for it. Nonrefundable yes can be gotten out in a slot machine. If you get some free money I spin for it first. I get it says $6 but first day gives me $8. Then transfer some amount from your cabin to the machine. If you dont gamble a certain percentage, I've read you can only do this once, so make sure you transfer it all at once. I only got cash out twice, the last time I was sick and thought I must have covid and would be isolated in my cabin. Usually spend it lol. But it can be done and I'm not a gambler.

I check in online, not the app. Try both as one may open before the other. Its midnight the time zone the ship leaves from. Idk about not filling in passport info, I fill it all in. I got one coming up in less than 2 weeks out of Galveston so its midnight texas time it opens. Suites can board 1 hour earlier than their assigned time.

I did the very aft boardwalk balcony. It was loud. They played football games so loud i could hear with my door closed and it's a long walk to the elevator. That being said I liked it better than central park which feels more closed in. I liked being able to see out the aft, though it's not as good of a view as I hoped. I have boardwalk booked again, on utopia for one. I like them for the lower price usually than a ocean view.

It does sound like they dont want people leaving labadee. Someone on your ship? I am sure they will let you all know .. if you rented some thing that could leave labadee. "I just received my cancellation notice for the wave runners on March 17 sailing on the oasis" just have a couple extra lobster and a extra drink and enjoy your cabana.

Sounds like misinformation to me. It's a island, off from the mainland. Not saying they arent hurting but Belize for instance is the mainland. Imo much worse and more pushy. I wouldnt believe every rumor. Just be careful as always.

I have seen some JS on older ship not much over 3k. There is a huge difference in what carnival offers with a suite and what royal offers. Carnival on the new class offers bubbles. That's it. The only perk. Rcl has a suite lounge and drinks and wifi and other perks. Nothing is free. If you prefer a no perks suite on carnival go for it.

TAs are almost always cheaper. I got voyager booked from PC to spain. And it's a lot less than for the next legs onboard once it's a regular sailing. I think the cost of the one way flight is daunting and why more people dont book TAs.

Idk a way to put a hold other than call my TA who can do it. He also has better group rates. I dont think you can put a hold on a cabin.

I booked two of these 8 day adventures. Eastern and the southern, with the full ABC. Nice ports but considering adventure is older, not cheap prices imo. I can do a week in a inside balcony on oasis vs these inside about same price for me. But adventure has some nice ports cant hit with oasis class.

I've said forever it's not right solo cant book gty. This is specific to royal Caribbean. I do gtys on other cruiselines. Call a ta and see if they have group space is all I can suggest. Otherwise you have to book with a fake 2nd. And yes I'm aware have to cancel that pax before the cruise leaves to get the extra solo loyalty pt.

A couple boardwalk balconies would sve you money. If you dont mind walking I did the very aft balcony where I could see out the aft. I'd save the money. Lots on that ship for everyone to do.

I looked at rhapsody out of tampa last part of 2025. Is there any good way from PC to tampa? I read it will take bright rail 5 years once its approved. It's not that good of ports it's worth the cost of parking, I'd like a shuttle from one coast to another.
