We had over 2k kids on oasis mid march last year. 800 doesnt sound too bad. I'm weighing my options moving to PC. The only 7 day is star and to me more than I want to spend so its adventure or shorter cruises b2b. I also booked a 4 day utopia. I may try out another line if something doesnt pop up saying book me. Not at the prices I've seen. But I'm also booking shorter cruises. Explorer comes in the end of 2025 doing 4 and 5 days. Adventure, especially the 8 days is running $200 a day. Might as well do utopia 3 and 4 night. Hard to find any dates under $200 a day imo.

I'm taking voyager on a TA to europe. That's the less expensive leg I have a balcony. It's the 2nd leg where they got me. My travel agent has certain group prices so I'm somewhat limited. Voyager I dont think has as many cabin category choices. 10 days port intensive and I wanted to see greece. So balcony pool deck, and he says inside is across the hall, easy move between legs. I dont want to give up my balcony for 13 days over. More sea days to lounge around and a balcony was only $30 more. With my d+ balc discount it often makes sense to get a balcony, sometimes not. Lol it was a better deal imo than doing a Caribbean so may 2025 I try and TA out of port Canaveral. When I see how much hotels cost to stay a few days in rome after and the flight home I might change my mind it's a good deal lol. But I am saving almost 1k by moving 2nd leg.

While I dont sit out hardly with a balcony, I miss being able to see the weather when I wake up. How to dress if its raining. ..though even a ov would do me just as well. I get whatever group cat is the best deal. I'd rather the balcony than not, unless a big difference in price. I'd have to see the inside price vs what you paid for the outside balcony to decide myself. I'd pay some extra. Not $1000 extra like they wanted for my 2nd leg in europe. Taking a balcony over and changing to inside. .. and I hate changing cabins. But for 1k savings I am.

That's another worry, finding doctors when I move. Here a lot dont take new patients. Idk about where I'm moving. I'm determined to figure it out and move, not a reason to not move. But stuff like this is concerning.

That's what happened to my parents so it can happen. The sellers had some beautiful Rose's planted in back of the house they dug up and took with them. My parents got to the house and were not happy. I would write it in now if I was buying a place with special flowers.

My problem is time. I have a may 20th closing date on my dallas house. I need to be gone from here and hopefully moved to florida by closing date. I still have the skin doctor (well her assistant). For checking for skin cancers. Let's hope none require MOHS. I've had a few places near my left hand turn red on cruises. A few places I'm worried about. Out of time. Got my friend to visit before I leave texas and a week cruise on mariner already paid for. And who knows if it's exactly the same lens they all offer. I dont have any way without knowing if these lens have model numbers or something. Maybe as a new doctor practice he paid more for them. Where I'm moving is a smaller area than dallas. Idk how doctors will be. I asked chase and they looked it up, there is a chase bank 11 minutes from me they said. Not all that close. But doable. Where I have checking.

While there may be one 12 top, there are many more 10 tops and smaller. With that many it can be luck even if planned ahead. Be sure and have everyone linked. My TA has even o tasted them ahead to set up tables for a large group. .. and still things can go amiss. Plan on checking as soon as you board.

If the obc is for your offer, I doubt they will get it. There is no point in your sister telling them you have a emergency. They dont care and helps nothing. They will know you didnt board and refund taxes and fees automatically. No reason for her to say anything.

How can she complain if she hasnt been on a rcl cruise since covid. She almost did a cruise. I seem to remember something went wrong with the ship. But as far as I know she hasnt been on a ship to actually know how the food tastes.

Check in starts at midnight at 45 days before. Midnight ships time. If I live in TX and leaving from florida its midnight florida time. I waited until texas time as I'm used to and missed the earliest check in time. You can ask when you board and they might have a empty table they can assign to you at a earlier time than 7 pm.

That looks like the same Intercontinental I've stayed at. Downtown miami bricknell area right? We arrived and they were asking $30 extra at check in if you wanted to face the ocean.

And another one. This one says on the market 5 hours. Cheaper than the one earlier but smaller and not as pretty. But so much waterfront seems to be popping up today. Single family on a boating canal looks like. Just unusual for so many to be listed recently.

Yea suspiciously high but this doctor just started his own practice. The day I came in another older patient kinda whispered to me that this doctor is really good. I think he got the surgery and very happy. He was there for a follow up visit after surgery. So I'll probably just go on with it, though I agree prices he is quoting he must be making out somehow. But i think hes good. He gives off a good confidence.

The last 2 weeks I've sure seen some nice waterfront properties come up. I put alerts for anything over 1500 sf where I am and a few other places, venice where my cousin lives and miami downtown. A nice looking unit in downtown Miami bricknell came on the market and 12 days later was contingent, $378k I think. About $950 hoa. That price imo is cheap. Condo glut downtown miami says CNBC. (Doesnt apply to Miami beach realtor says). I saw a pretty huge house on a canal this morning sunny yellow. It was over $1m lol but pretty. Some others on canals. Some really interesting property being listed. Idk what this is worth, but a $400k drop imo indicates a soft condo market. I'll get a alert if it sells here, it's close to where I'd think so. Nice sized for oceanfront. John's was a nice size. I love real estate even if I'm just looking.

Agree and imo there is no doubt that food has declined. Little things like honeydew melon with the fruit now gone. I used to find arugula lettuce in the cafe as a lettuce choice. .. only a year ago. Fewer choices. Both of which I saw on carnival who is doing the opposite and stepping up menus. I just eat more at specialty and it seems I always have some obc, so it doesnt stop me from cruising, but imo food has declined.

Did you get this from your TA? I'd ask them. I've never seen royal offer it.

I enjoyed my ncl cruises, also my carnival and other brands. I've tried most except msc. Depends how often you cruise too. Sometimes its nice to mix it up and have new menus. I wouldnt say one line is better in all ways. I didnt like that ncl included some things and then there was a gratuity charge for things I wouldn't use. Also seems more tailored to non solos. Yes ncl has some tiny solo cabins, but other than that if small cabins solo arent your thing. I pushed on royal to get over 340 pts for the solo discount. Other than that solos do seem to not fare as well with lines that offer more all inclusive. I'd book without it even on ncl. Even if I had to wait to book. Like OP dont really want the inclusive ncl package.

I dont know how bad it is either. I rarely wear reading glasses. I went for the discharge in my eyes. Oh he said the oil problem is chronic, meaning hard to get rid of so it is gone completely. He is doing surgery to the first eye march 18. She wanted to do it march 24 but I'm worried about getting them both done and seeing him for a check up after. She is squeezing me in late at 3 pm march 18. Then a couple weeks later left eye. He talked about the shape of my eyes. I forget the term. Astigmatism? The left eye is a little more out of shape. So right eye easier. I feel like im running out of time before I move.

I thought about it, just to make sure no one takes it wrong. This lady and I have been friends for over 50 years. Several couples of us hung out after college and she is the lady my friend was with. .. she has been married forever, but we stayed friends. One other lady left from the group. Her husband also passed, just 3 of us women left. Some friends stick. She and I will be friends forever. She and I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon together. We were the only single women down there, much younger than now. We have had some adventures together. Hawaii. So anyway I need to find time to see her before I move from texas.
