  1. I don’t know about now but at that time I loved the fact I could pre-pay for parking..
  2. Just FYI…..American has one of the worst records in Orlando for delays and cancellations…..
  3. we had that experience and what they did was move all the cars to the second terminal while we were gone. Our vehicles were there waiting for us when we got off the ship. Valet parking in Tampa is totally worth it but especially in this situation!!!!!
  4. We were just there a couple of weeks ago and Country Inn & Suites no longer has the big shuttle service to the port. They said they will only shuttle about 20 people now and it is on a first come first serve basis, so you can’t even sign up until you check in. The huge gravel parking lot they used to use to park cars for all the people doing the shuttle was completely empty….it was weird.
  5. We briefly visited the Golden Room (non smoking) on the Wonder last week. Didn’t care for it at all as it was dead with very few machines. Just didn’t get the same vibe as you do in the main casino. We went back to the big casino for the rest of the time and the ventilation system seems to be working well as we had no issues on the non-smoking side.
  6. we just got off the Wonder yesterday as well and I agree with your post. We booked the cruise to sail with friends but I will never book this time of year again!!! I am NOT anti-kids and fully expected plenty onboard but what I did not expect was the number of kids turned loose to act as crazy and be as disruptive as they pleased and running the halls at all hours of the day and night!!!😳😳😳. Not only was it packs of teens, there were pre-teens as well as some that I know weren’t more than 5-7yrs old wandering around alone all week!!!! I was also VERY shocked that they turned a “blind eye” to kids in the Solarium! Kids were also in bar stools in some of the bars and playing chase running through the casino!!! Again no parents to be seen!! Our FB group named them the “Parent-Less Children Of The Wonder”😳😳
  7. Wine must be CARRIED ON!! You were never supposed to check it!! I am surprised they didn’t hold that bag downstairs in the “naughty room” and make you come down to claim it….😳😳
  8. Internet has been the same price for months for our cruise. Sale or no sale it’s the same price!!!!!
  9. And the time will be from wherever your ship is leaving from. Say for instance you’re sailing from Florida so check begins at midnight EST but if you live in the Central Time Zone your check in time will be at 11:00 your time😎 I hope this makes sense….
  10. We go to Guest Services and pick up a few of the tip envelopes to place our extra tip in and then hand it to them on the last evening. I always take the time to write a note on the back of each envelope thanking them for making our cruise so wonderful. I also take a picture of the nameplate on the table so I make sure I have the correct spelling for the survey. If I have others who have made my cruise great I will take a picture of their name tag…..
  11. We took our granddaughters on Disney twice when they were about this age. They are now 22 and 16 and still talk about the Disney cruises!! If it had not been so expensive I would have taken them more. For children that age, in my opinion, it has to be Disney hands down!!!
  12. They are getting everything in top shape for the the President’s Cruise that happens next month. With the CEO and others sailing the ship will be in pristine condition!!
  13. We have never, ever spent one extra dime for anything at Coco Cay and have always had an awesome time!!
  14. Don’t know when your cruise is but availability to book shows can show up anytime from 60-30 days out. You will need to check the app often as some shows do book out quickly…..
  15. We took our granddaughters and their Mom on a Disney cruise and all of them have the same last name. We still had to produce a notarized letter from the girls Dad that he knew we were taking them out of the country on a cruise. So while some will say they will never ask (and they may not), but had we not had that letter I am not sure we would have been able to board. Take everything you might need including death certificate for the Dad and if at all possible get that letter from the other Dad!!! Because you never know when you will get someone checking you in who follows all the rules to an extreme….
  16. Have your daughter go ahead and call to Crown and Anchor 1-800-526-9723 and have her account and her husband linked now. That way he will be listed as Diamond on his card upon boarding with all the perks already loaded onto his card
  17. But in the evenings Central Park has nice, soft live music playing. I want to try a Central Park balcony when the weather is cooler….
  18. I was just going by the above post straight from the MSC website which stated everyone. Including minors must have a passport……so I didn’t know… I went back and pulled it myself and do see you can use a BC and photo ID. I sure am glad for the original poster’s sake.….😎
  19. Am I reading this correctly that MSC requires EVERYONE to have a passport?
  20. Royal Caribbean’s website starts you must have a valid ID to board….
  21. the Voom people should be able to take care of it
  22. we were there on Thanksgiving Day and many places were closed. It might be a challenge finding a restaurant but not impossible
  23. https://dixiecrossroads.com/ one of the most popular in the area…
  24. Call Crown & Anchor 1-800-526-9723 and have your accounts linked. You will then be Diamond just as he is with all the perks that come with it…😎
