  1. I can find mine by opening the app and then swiping to the left.
  2. Time selected is Check in time…..not boarding time
  3. On our last three cruises out of Canaveral….(the most recent a week ago)…...the only priority boarding is for Suites, Pinnacles, and The Key. All others (including D and D+) are seated with all others in sections according to your selected check in time. On a positive note boarding is quick and efficient so not a big deal for us…😎😎
  4. Never had to take a test to go to Labadee…..during the restart had to test to board but not for any port in the Caribbean
  5. And be sure to check your account BEFORE leaving the ship as sometimes you may not get credit for towels you have returned and they have charged your account $25 per towel!! Much easier to get this taken care of while onboard!!
  6. Also check….. Cortrans Shuttle Cocoa Beach Shuttle Cruise Control Transportation GoPort
  7. I leave all my dress clothes on hangers and cover them with a plastic dry cleaner bag. I fold them once in half and pack them in the top of my suitcase. Unpack….hang them in the closet….absolutely no wrinkles
  8. Go onto the app….click the little people icon at the top. Just below the cruise listed there will be a Link to select another cruise
  9. On one of our cruises we had a pretty active FB page that people posted to daily, even during the cruise. A parent of a special needs six year old posted that her son had looked for several days but hadn’t found one and was so sad. A lady on our board who was hiding ducks asked for their cabin number and went immediately and “hid” a few right outside their cabin door. The mother posted a picture of her son finding them and the joy on his face would bring tears to your eyes. So those of you who like to trash them……please just leave them for someone else to find. You could be destroying someone else’s joy.
  10. We never EVER try to go to the WJ on boarding day because it’s always a zoo!! We grab a quick bite somewhere else….
  11. If your early seating is 5pm then that is the time you are expected to be there. On our cruise in January when we sailed on the Jewel the dining room opened at 5:15…..dinner started at 5:30…..and the doors were closed at 5:45…. On My Time I would definitely reserve my time ahead of time…otherwise you will be standing in a long line every single night…
  12. Just a honest question…..where was she planning on using these?
  13. I do agree they technically have enough spaces but for the late comers some have to park very far away in an outer lot. For people who have difficulty walking that can be quite a trek…..
  14. Terminal 1 has a big problem with parking!! With the Wonder leaving the day before parking spaces are probably going to be hard to get. If you do not get there VERY early as people are leaving from the cruise coming in you will have a hard time finding a spot. My advice is to get there EARLY and see if you can grab a spot. Even if you have a later check in time, it is better to get a parking spot and either wait in the car OR walk over to Grills for some food and drinks.
  15. We always buy trip insurance but never, ever from the cruise line. You can get much better coverage for less money through a third party!!! Here is where we get our quotes and purchase our policy…. www.insuremytrip.com
  16. it was just like a sinus infection. I started feeling bad the day we got off and tested positive two days later. I was over it in about 5 days, so not a big deal to me at all. Certainly didn’t stop me from cruising….😎😎
  17. Sailed 51 times and out of all of those I caught something maybe 3 times. And yes one of those times was covid…..
  18. since we rarely purchase anything pre-cruise we just let the onboard credit roll over to our account on the ship and use it during our cruise….
  19. In addition to pre-paying our tips we also on the last night tip extra to our room steward, waiters and our favorite bar tender. We are D+ and get 5 drink vouchers per day. We also tip $1-$2 with each of our free drink vouchers. So we are not just keyboard warriors…..😁😁
  20. The Independence usually sails out of Terminal 1. You pay as you enter the parking garage. Did you have specific questions?
  21. I get envelopes from Guest Services but it is only to tip extra to those who I have had great service from….my gratuities are pre-paid before boarding. My only hope is that those who remove their tips do so at the beginning of the cruise rather than wait until the last day so that the crew will know it was not because of something they did wrong!!
  22. We were on the Jewel last month and will sail on her again the 17th. No the food wasn’t as good as we have had in the past, but we love the Jewel and cannot wait for our upcoming cruise….
  23. IMO……too risky!! MCO can be a zoo even with TSA pre check
  24. Please do your complaining at Guest Services and not to your room steward as they have no control over anything!!!
  25. Park N Cruise is not a paved lot. Every time we have passed by the cars are packed in there very close. You also have to leave them your keys. My husband would never leave his car there because he is picky about such things… Park Port Canaveral is a regular paved parking lot with normal lined parking spaces. It is fenced in, with continuous shuttles and only a mile from the port. Be sure to use the discount code at the top of the Park Port Canaveral website to get the best price….
