For those of you who haven’t gotten their annual yet just go ahead, get some dates in mind and call them. My husband hasn’t gotten his but when we talked to them yesterday they could see his annual on their end so it was available to use!! (I had already used mine) (there is a list of cruises that are excluded……mostly June, July and December…so keep that in mind)

are you taking the bus to Ft Lauderdale the morning of your cruise???? I sure hope not!!!😳

we do this exact same thing. We put the cost of the trip as zero and it cut our premiums to less than half….

don’t forget to also turn on WiFi calling in addition to airplane mode.

we do not use our phones in port……as we don’t want to pay international charges…

we are in our 70’s so we are not tech savvy either…..but this is what we do. we purchase the ship’s WiFi package. Once onboard put your phone on airplane mode and then turn on WiFi calling……you can then use your phone to make and receive calls, text or receive text and use your phone just as you were at home. (we do not use WhatsApp as there is no need doing the above)

So you are sailing in 3wks……the price has dropped…..you are way past the final payment date…..and you want to be compensated??? There are no refunds after final payment for ANY of us so not sure what you are expecting….

if I have an OBC on my room account then I just transfer that amount of money to the machine I am playing.

we have used them and had a good experience. They were there waiting when we stepped off the ship. They have multiple shuttles running so they can have one coming in as one fills up. Parking area is in a fenced in area with nice paved parking. ****be sure you used the discount code at the top of their website for the best price***

Get a day room at the Hyatt right there in the airport. You can relax and freshen up before your flight…

It would greatly depend on which terminal you are returning to….

in addition to Grills and Fishlips we also love Kelsey’s. They have great pizza and salads but also some of the best Italian!! It is just down the street from Homewood Suites…..next door to the Radisson and in the same complex as Preacher Bar (also one of our favorites)

when we go to Cozumel we love Nachi Cocom. All inclusive for eats and drinks. They only take 130 people so quiet and peaceful….

We get our quotes and purchase our policies through Insure My Trip. You have to look at the policy to see which ones are primary as most are secondary. When it asks for trip cost I put in zero and still have coverage for the other stuff. I have used Travel Safe, Travel Guard, and Travel Insured. www.insuremytrip.com

We looked into the yearly policy but decided to pass. I prefer a policy that serves as primary and not secondary. I also want a large medical and medical evacuation amount. Because we are older the price of trip insurance has gotten pretty high, so we do not insure the cost of the trip itself because we feel we can absorb that if something happened and we could not travel. We are more concerned with the medical and medical evac. Last two cruises using the above method we got $500,000 of medical and $1,000,000 of medical evacuation under a policy that serves as primary for a total of $127 for both of us….

please do not try to go to your cabin to drop off luggage as another poster suggested!! The doors are closed until the rooms are ready around 1:30-2:00 for a reason!! They probably wouldn’t tell you no because they don’t want to make a passenger mad but if several thousand passengers tried to “just drop off luggage” they would never get finished with their tasks!! Please just follow the rules and don’t go to your room until the announcement is made they are open and ready….
