On Royal it is no more than 12 bottle that must be 17oz or less. These must be in your carry on only, so you will be dragging them around with you until the rooms are ready around 1:30pm or so….

Unvaxxed is still supposed to test and just show a picture of their negative result… Very lax protocols now….

CVSin our area is still offering testing but not sure about a fee. When we did testing we ordered the kits from Emed and did them online at the hotel. Or if you have any of freebie government kits you can use an online company, pay a small fee and they will proctor your tests and send you the results…..

I was also going to add the Racetrac a block away is a good place for snacks, wine, etc.

Sure can….we just did this on the Harmony last week….it was easy to do!!! And I had some refundable AND non refundable money and I got it all back… someone shared this with me and it worked perfectly

Just got off the Harmony on Sunday and it was reported on our FB board that 28 people who were in quarantine were taken off the ship together and sent to a hotel until they could fly home on Thursday. Royal is supposed to reimburse them $100 per person per day for food and $250 per night for hotel. But I think most people are not going to medical or reporting they are ill. At least 20+ people on our board have already posted positive tests results in the last couple of days…. So yes…..they do still quarantine they just keep it very quiet!!

No way would I want a cabin on Deck 14……

Mardi Gras I believe is terminal 3……they don’t have the problems Royal does at Terminal 1 so you should be fine…

We sail for the ships and in fact sometimes never get off in ports at all as we have been so many times. We don’t have to have the newest ships, but we prefer to sail on those big enough to at least have a promenade…..

I only use our credit card…… Also if you are cruising out of Terminal 1 I highly recommend you get the to port very early to grab one of the few spaces in the parking deck. Currently there are at least two ships going out of there and parking spaces have become a premium. Otherwise you can except to have to park, in the overflow outside, across the street in a gravel lot or on the other side of the terminal next to a warehouse with a long walk to the terminal!! Since that makes us very early for our check in time we either sit in the car for awhile or walk over to Grills and have a drink and a bite to eat…

Why not rent a car from MCO to your hotel so you will have it in the evening for dinner etc. Then when you get off the ship hop on a pre-booked shuttle and ride back to the airport rather than dealing with going to the car rental agency, picking up the car and then returning the car at the airport. They would be waiting for you as you stepped off the ship and it would save you some time for sure!! There is a desk where they will get one for you however it is a 45-60min drive to Orlando so a taxi will be expensive. You may want to also price Uber but I am sure surge pricing will be in effect. Have no idea about laundry facilities but we love the Marriott Waterside.

There is a Residence Inn (by Marriott) on Astronaut Blvd less than a mile from the entrance to the port. We have stayed there before and enjoyed it….

If you don’t use all your vouchers at the end of the evening use them to get bottles of water or unopened bottles of beer, etc and take it back to your room and store in your refrigerator.

In May we were on the Mariner the first week that masks became optional so of course 99% of us didn’t wear one. Two days after getting home I tested positive for Covid. Since we don’t fly we assume it was from the ship. In July we boarded the Harmony and I wore my N95 mask while standing in the line for checkin, in the terminal, on elevators and anywhere I wasn’t going to be able to distance from others……. I did not get covid. Maybe a coincidence or just lucky I am not sure, but we board the Harmony next Sunday and I will be bringing my N95’s again for sure!!!!😎😎
