DanielA, you are not correct in some of your thinking. Yes you can use your phone for the next Zumba class and Trivia contest. With ocean compass on your phone(avail when you board the ship), it gives you access to the daily patters; listing everything going on the ship; yes it will tell you who's performing and the digital screens at the elevators have the patters on them. Have a wonderful day

Below link explains the soda and more package, or just the soda package. I assume you are talking about the soda and more package.

This is current Princess pricing for beverages and sodas

what is the price for the soda and more package?

Are you asking about the soda and more package or the premier beverage package? You are doing the 15 day trip to Hawaii out of SFO. You can book your excursions in your cruise personalizer; or you can use a third party website to book shore excursions. The first few days at sea are normally a little chilly; as you get closer to the Hawaiian Islands, the weather warms up. For that many sea days, think about bringing a kindle for reading, or playing games, there will be plenty to do on board. Hawaii is a great state with lots to see on the different islands. Have fun

Wow oh Wow. Prayers for all those who are on the ship, prayers for the rescue teams, hospitals teams, hotels, and all involved with this rescue.

Hi,
I was unable to find the Ocean concierge App. Do you know if they have changed its name?
Thanks and have a great day
Sorry for mixup. It is actually called ocean compass and it is part of medallion net; you won't be able to use or download until you are onboard

I don't think I ever get board with any ship or any line. Enjoy

pshaze, thanks for your feedback and info. Have a great day

Thanks Mom33, we sailed last month on Caribbean Princess and last year on Emerald; the pool was on deck 16; lido on both ships. Have a great day; we have Sky booked next year; so will see what the layout brings. I know by the time I sail; there will be plenty of chatter on these threads about the ship; along with lots of pictures(hopefully lots of pics)
Have a great day

Terry, thanks for sharing this info. I see you have had quite a few interesting trips over the last four years. I have to say the holy land, and petra is a highlight. Let me ask you this question. how far from where Jesus was tried; down the via dolorosa, to his burial ground; how far was this? I say it was maybe less than a football field.

No extra charge.
Thank you very much for the quick response. I have not yet sailed on anything bigger than Allure

Yes, there is an aft pool on Regal. It is very small and only a dipping pool. The one on the Sky looks a little bigger.
The pool on the Regal is on deck 17 aft
So if it is on Deck 17 can you still acess it from the buffet area? I have not been on either Royal or Regal. Sky will be my first big ship with Princess

So how much extra are the costs for bumper car, ifly, and northstar?

post pics on the cruiseline facebook page. One thing corporations do not like is negative feedback. Might be one reason why I have not sailed with Royal Caribbean since 2011. Just a joke. I have been trying out other cruise lines; and have enjoyed Princess for the past three years

Mom33, I thought there wasn't aft pool on Regal or Royal

You will have your security photo taken by the Princess Security team. They use ipads.

Let me add one more thing for you lx200gps; I did put the medallion in my pocket and when I approached my cabin it did not activate the lock. I had to take it out of pocket to work; but I have read some people have had it work in their pockets; so that might be something you can try when you're on board

I used the medallion last month on Caribbibean Princess. The cruise card is flat and sits in a t-shirt pocket or pants pocket for men. The medallion I wore on lanyard. I guess for ease of use; if I ordered a drink at the bar or bought something in gift shop; my medallion was on the lanyard so I could sit it on the scanning machine at the bar or gift shop. Same process with the key card; pull out of pants or shirt pocket and lay it on scanner. If you have an apple watch(which I do), I use it for paying check in restaurants, grocery and pharmacies. I flick my wrist and pay. The medallion works on same principle as apple pay with your apple watch(if you have one). For me the medallion program was seamless and required no learning curves. Hope this helps

I think azbirdmom has it right. Depending on what city you fly from; United may be more so they push the airfare down. I fly out of CVG and United is always at the bottom; due to they charge way more for flights out of CVG. That being said; Denver is a United hub; so you would think they would pop up at the top of the choices

One of our favorite spots on the Royal is the aft seating area on the Lido deck. They put a pool in that area on the Sky. Not a deal breaker for us but would take the Regal or Royal if given the choice.
You mention Sky's aft pool lido deck. That same pool is on CB and other ships. It is small and there is still plenty of room to sit. Why do you think having the pool on Sky is different? I really like the wake pool. It adds ambiance to the entire area. Enjoy where ever you cruise to

We have been through the canal on Coral and Island. Wanted Emerald to go through new locks. Not concerned about airfare.
Got it; if you make it have fun; sailed Emerald last year and had a ball; we were in family suite. We had Penthouse last month on CB with the new ocean medallion
