  1. Hubby was very disappointed our sky class OS card was not a stand out color! He’s such a suited snob. Also had issues with the card info peeling off. Had to replace 3 out of 4 cards.
  2. Yes I did mean Getaway! I’ve booked the sloth/snorkeling trip. I have tried to snorkel on every cruise we’ve ever been on & every one has been canceled due to bad weather. I keep hoping! Would you recommend a different tour option with them?
  3. How about Getaway Tours? Any reviews of their sloths & snorkeling excursion?
  4. It appears to me that the Chefs recommendations follow the nightly theme not the whole menu.
  5. On the website, look for an add a cruise button. “Don’t see your cruise? Let’s add it”
  6. Place 2 hot beverages on a plate. I can also put 2 fruit cups on said plate. Cover with a second plate & put pastries on that. I can balance that up/down 3 flights of stairs!
  7. You were the kid they shoved in lockers in school weren’t you.
  8. We had a very roomy table on Explorer in the back. I mean at least a six foot buffer! Maybe it was hubby’s shorts?!?!!
  9. Click on the little person top right. Under your sailing click on select a different cruise, click on browse our ships click on Symphony and the current sailing.
  10. And I take mine on vacation just about every year but we do their stuff, usually 4/5 days at the beach. They love the water & sand. And they sleep like rocks!
  11. Really, I am a professional grandmother. I have one or more of them at my house 3-4 days a week. It’s just reading posts asking about taking young children & getting “oh yes, you can do it. Bring the grandparents” replies that rub me the wrong way. If it’s too hard to manage your offspring without help, take a different vacation. I never brought anyone on vacation with us. They were our kids, we took trips that we and they could handle.
  12. We had a two top by a window. Be aware, if dinner occurs after sunset, the window becomes a mirror!
  13. Something I would order every night. DD loves Indian so she’ll be happy. Hubby & son will figure it out!
  14. He has socks on. They are called no shows.
  15. Please report back with which menu you were actually served. Have a great cruise.
  16. Good for you. I don’t understand YOUR obsession with other people’s clothes. What business is it of yours?
  17. As a Grammy who loves her grandkids, I somewhat resent being put forth as the built in babysitter. Hey Mom, we’d love for you and Dad to join us on our cruise! The kids are napping next door, we’ll be at the pool bar if you need us.
  18. The roast chicken is like crack for me. Even when I eat at the MDR, I usually visit WJ just to have a piece or two…… or three
  19. In my husbands case, it’s all he brings. He will bring dress clothes if I insist but I don’t. He’s worked hard all his life & if he wants to cruise in neat, clean shorts, that’s what he gets to do. Why oh why do people care??!!
  20. Bit of advice, many people stop at the first station(s) they come to. Walk all the way around & look at everything. It’s not all the same.
  21. Reviews? Thoughts? Monkeys/sloths/snorkeling?
  22. Nope hubby wore shorts & sandals every night every cruise except formal night. In fact our last cruise we decided we didn’t want to dress up so told our waitstaff we would eat elsewhere that night. They insisted no one would care and to please come to the MDR.
