  1. We were on Oasis the week prior to you guys and also had approx 6700 guests on board. We ate in MDR and Windjammer. We had our son and 3 of his kids, ages 6, 4, 2 in our party.ย

    ย

The crew in both the MDR and Windjammer were kind and attentive given our craziness. Ha.ย

    ย

We had never been on a cruise before with very little children and it was quite different and exhausting, but fun.ย

    Thanks for your review @mac_tlc

Perfect time for a vacationย  to relieve yourself from the NY Mets Season. Towel has been thrown in.ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

At least the owner shows he definitely makes business decisions!ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

PS We are also booked for the Greenland cruise. Should be interesting. Wish there were a few more excursions.ย

  4. Just off Oasis of the Seas (July 28 - August 4). Hope all of you are well.

    ย

This was a very different cruise for us as we went with our older son and 3 of his children ages 6, 4, and 2. We came home quite exhausted. Ha. But we all had a good time.ย

    ย

My husband and I typically do a bit of lounging around and there was none of that! Constant activity ... pools, slides, rock-climbing, mini-golf, ice skating, carousel, Aqua 80 and Frozen in Time shows ... and more.ย

    ย

It was definitely the most crowded cruise we were ever on with almost 6700 guests.ย

    ย

We went to the beach (Cocoa Beach) at Port Canaveral and Blue Lagoon at Nassau. Other stop was Coco Cay. Weather was good, but hot as expected.

    ย

    Best to all of you.

In less than two weeks we'll be on on 12th cruise w/ Royal and our first since Sept 2019. We're very excited of course but also a bit concerned about the cutbacks. We'll experience firsthand these changes and if the 'wow' factor has left RCL, we'll be right behind it. I'm not sure what to expect. Reading these boards helps. one educate themselves some but it also can make one a bit jaded as well. It's a balance for sure.ย

We have a couple coming up this year also. Hope you have a great time.ย

  7. We went there. It was not crowded, however I think it might be busier now (we went there on one of the early post-Covid cruises).ย  We enjoyed it but if you don't have a full day, it does not seem worth it. On some cruises you don't get to Nassau until 1pm.

It does not include any food/drinks.ย

I grew up in Brooklyn .I worked in all 5 boroughs My friends and I never referred to Manhattan as โ€œthe city.โ€

Interesting. I also lived and worked in various boroughs and that was not my experience. Who knows. Different times, different experiences.ย

    Best to you.ย

Good,I have not watched it yet,but I am a huge Fleetwood Mac fan.

    From Wikipedia:

    ย

Daisy Jones & the Sixย follows "a rock band in the 1970s from their rise in the LA music scene to becoming one of the most famous bands in the world and explores the reason behind their split at the height of their success."[5][6][7][8][9]ย Theย Amazon Prime Videoย series is based onย Taylor Jenkins Reid's book of the same name, which the author describes was partly inspired by her experience growing up and by watchingย Fleetwood Macย performances on television.
