  1. Taxi to TPA should be about $25+tip. The ride from Port to airport takes about 15+ minutes
  2. Water toys and beach at both will keep any kid entertained, but Paradise Beach is the more family friendly option IMHO, and also offers a HUGE pool, better facilites, etc.
  3. It has been a few years, but we had no issues on the train; we ride during the daytime. Maybe a local can jump in with more current safety observations. As long as you can handle your own luggage and have time it's a good and cheap option.
  4. You can do a mock booking to see what the fare is that day. Cab should be about $30+ on the meter and Uber/Lyft should be a few dollars less.
  5. You could Taxi to the Money Bar for good, but not great snorkeling from the shore - no admission fee, but you should buy some snacks/drinks. Then cab to Nachi for the rest of the day.
  6. Taxi for about $75+, Uber or Lyft for a bit less unless surge pricing is in effect. You could ride the Tri-Rail train to FLL (call the hotel to find out the closest station) for under $5 each, then shuttle or taxi to your hotel. Or call Larry's Limos and arrive in style!
  7. Avis and Hertz have hotel locations within a couple of blocks of the port (depending upon which terminal), but a taxi to TPA from the port is only about $25 - why rent a car?
  8. You could uber/Lyft/taxi/shuttle to FLL and then use the Tri Rail train to MIA - more hassle, but a much cheaper option.
  9. Two van taxis or UberXL will probably win, but you can arrive in style with Larry's Limos
  10. resortpass.com will link you to hotels/resorts offering day passes to their spa/pool/beach facilities. Tip them to store your bags while you are pampered, swim and enjoy lunch.
  11. Taxi should be about $25+. Uber or Lyft may be cheaper by a few dollars.
  12. There are a few companies with downtown Miami locations, and you would need to specify which company to be sure. If a shuttle is not offered a taxi would only be about $10-12
  13. There are a few, VERY FEW, Uber and Lyft cars with car seats, but you will pay more and wait longer. Your best bet is to return to the airport baggage claim area and use the cruise line shuttle bus to the port, which will be expensive and slow.
  14. Because of the uncertainty on timing I would wait until you are clear of customs/immigration and then request your ride.
  15. Add Larry's Limos to the list. I would also call your hotel for transportation suggestions.
  16. For a 10:30 flight you need to be at FLL by about 9:00. The ride from POM to FLL will take about 30 min (plus any waiting time for your ride to arrive), so that translates into off the ship with your carry bags and clear of customs/immigration by about 8:15 or so. Not much slack in your schedule, but it can be done.
  17. Taxi from MIA to Brickell area hotels should be about $30 on the meter, and Uber or Lyft should be cheaper. Cab fare from hotel to port the next day will be $15-20
  18. With an 11:45 flight you need to be at FLL by about 9:45 or 10, which translates into off the ship, with bags, and clear of customs/immigration by about 9:30. A low or even middle number for getting off the ship and claiming your bags should work, and you might even have time for one last breakfast in the MDR!
  19. The asnwer to all of your PB questions can be found here: Paradise Beach Cozumel – Paradise Beach Cozumel WordPress
  20. resortpass.com will hook you up with hotels and large resorts offering day passes to their spa/pool/beach facilities. Tip them to store your bags while you swim. relax and grab some lunch and drinks.
  21. Two one-way rental cars are your best bet. The drive from MCO to the FLL area will take about 3.5+ hours. Grab an early breakfast and you can be on the ship before noon.
  22. I know of no downtown Miami hotel offering airport shuttles. The Holiday Inn has not offered port shuttles in the past, but since you can see the port from some of the rooms a taxi will be cheap, and Uber or Lyft should be about $10.
  23. With that flight time you do not have minutes to spare waiting for Uber or Lyft - grab the first taxi in line.
