Congratulations on booking a transatlantic crossing, its the only way to cross !
1 & 2 The Hotel and Dining Service charge is per person and is added to your on board account, usually early on Day 2.
3 No, you used to be able to but I believe it's now use it or lose it.
Have a great trip
I'll be in London next Sunday, I'm not sure if I'll have time to go to Fortnum's but I'll try to catch a bus for part of the journey to see the Christmas lights.
Mr HH has gone to Pembrokeshire put the Christmas decorations up there so ours will have to wait for a bit longer.
I'm not sure how often they auction flags but we ended up with a red ensign as well as the Commodore's Burgee ! I can't remember how much we bid but it was sealed bids in an envelope.
The current cruise is a New York round-trip to the Caribbean. I don't think we can assume that the same process will be in place for a crossing.
Thanks for the update @bluemarble.
We don't have afternoon tea very often and sometimes just have a light room service breakfast.
Generally portion sizes aren't huge so we can usually manage 3 courses at dinner.
Some of the QG a la carte options can be larger.
There have been several reports on the P&O board that passengers have had their cruise cancelled with no refunds. They have been told to contact their travel insurance company.
There may be different rules for Australian cruising.
Tethering is connecting devices together so they can use the same internet connection. We used Bluetooth to share one package on both our phones. It only works when you're together, not when one of you is in isolation!
With tethering and using data in port we wouldn't have needed to buy extra on our 14 day cruise.
