  1. I will answer what I can: 1. Celebrity says that their pre-cruise discount for wi-fi is greater than what you will find on board. I believe that to be true the few times I have checked. Additionally, since you are a repeat cruiser (and should be in the Captains Club) there is an additional discount that is offered--I think 10% in your case. In order to get the loyalty discount on top of the pre-cruise discount, you need to call the Captains Club (1-844-418-6824) because you cannot get your Capt Club discount on line. 2. In general, you can make adjustments to your specialty dining reservation once you get on board. I do this all the time, however I have never booked the discounted first night, so I don't know how full it gets and hence how much flexibility there is to make changes. I recently read in this forum that the first night gets filled so the discounts must be working. Maybe someone with more experience can comment. 3. Yes, you should be able to pay your gratuities ahead of time. Perhaps if you end up calling the Captains Club to get your wi-fi discounts, you might be able to ask about paying for your gratuities and I would imagine that they can take care of that, too. 4. You should be able to see your OBC at the top of your Cruise Planner (click on Plan My Cruise). Note that any OBC you are getting from your travel agent is giving you may not show in your online OBC total because Celebrity can't "see" it. .5. In the distant past, my wife and I regularly brought cans of sodas on board Celebrity ships. There was never a problem or a limit that we were aware of. We did not ever need or try to get sodas brought on board from a port (some places, like Europe the formulation of soda is different, like Sprite, and I don't like the resulting taste). We stopped bringing sodas because we get it from our drink packages.
  2. I didn't have time to add that if you go the active "Live" thread that I posted earlier, I believe some of the people posting are planning on attending the Taj X very soon. You can certainly ask them.
  3. Are the AquaClass cocktails supposed to be on the healthy side?
  4. It must be a Royal Caribbean Group thing as Wonder of the Seas is oversold for the third time. This time for a cruise that leaves in three days. https://www.cruisehive.com/another-oversold-royal-caribbean-cruise-days-before-departure/100027
  5. Unbelievable. This reminds me of well known water safety guidelines that tell you not to jump in the water to try to rescue someone having trouble because you can end up in trouble, too (unless you're properly trained). I hope things get fixed right for you.
  6. Actually, I think I lost some weight because you stopped posting.
  7. We are booked on one for Christmas/NYE this year--at least until we are told we're not.
  8. It wasn't a problem for me--after booking flights with FBC, I was still able use the procedure I described to check on flight prices and flight options.
  9. I understand. I'm sure you looked into this, there should be natural cancellations that will occur before the sailing date, can the cancelled people in your family get waitlisted?
  10. I'm very sympathetic to your situation and I would be very upset since it's no small feat to plan a trip for a large group that requires six cabins. And then to be presented with a choice of half-of-us-go or nobody-goes simply sucks.
  11. I am very pleased to read this. As I posted earlier, it is possible to get Celebrity to make some concessions if you are persistent and willing to make your case. It's just too bad that you have to work at it.
  12. We used Flights by Celebrity for our westward TA (Constellation) this past Oct-Nov. So we bought economy seats on United for ORD-FCO and TPA-ORD. Compared to the United website, I found FBC to be slightly cheaper because Celebrity was running a promotion at the time ($100 off air or something like that). The airfare cost us $647 pp. It was $747 pp if I purchased directly from United. I didn't look at Business Class.
  13. I meant to ask you this question earlier about this sailing. Did you find it odd that the first EC night occurred on Day 3 when Day 2 was a sea day?
  14. Good morning and thank you for the numerous canal photos yesterday. I presume you enjoyed it? BTW, if it is not too much trouble, could you please take a photo of the Celebrity Today that was distributed last night?
  15. Yes, you have used "bon voyage" in your signature for years. However, under the circumstances I thought the OPs response was sadly humorous.
  16. You can have your larger Euro bills broken up at Guest Relations on board. Getting it done in Rome is similar to your options for getting a $50 bill changed in the USA. If you are staying at a hotel, the front desk should be able to take care of it.
