  1. We booked this deal last week for Regent. It's not available directly through Regent but many TAs can book it. Concierge Class cabins and below. Rate shown is for the lowet Cat Verandah cabin. We booked Concierge at about $400pp/nt. To us it's a great way to try Regent.....and AI. Even includes a pre-cruise night at the Biltmore in Miami.
  2. Celebrity's Announcement about the Retreat says "Retreat guests will enjoy Premium Drinks, Premium Wi-Fi and The Retreat amenity access as part of their elevated Suite experience." By omission this indicated no pre-paid gratuities or OBC. Clever marketing on their part so they don't have to say they took away anything.
  3. If you already had the bookings then there was never a question if they would be covered. This is only for new bookings starting Oct 4 '23
  4. I've thought the same and can see "extra tipping" possibly not what it has been. If so, it's another cut to their dedicated employees.
  5. With cruisers now having to pay tips either on top of their cruise fare or on their account at the end of the cruise I'm wondering how many will tip "extra" like many do now.
  6. We'll be on Navigator ending our cruise in Manhattan Jun 2 '24. Curious if anyone know if Regent offers transfers to EWR airport in Newark? Does Regent use Pier 88?
  7. New Regent cruiser who booked last week. I was excited to book excursions but couldn't do it online as I would get knocked out after I selected the port. I cleared cache/cookies, tried another browser, tried another computer and even my phone. By day 2 I decided I'd call Regent and book them with them. Interestingly 2 different agents said they weren't aware of any problems?? I'm tech saavy and know it had to be some kind of glitch. At least I was able to get them booked. Now to hopefully clear the waitlist for 3 of them.
  8. Just off Ovation Aug 4 sailing and Capt was Sverre Ryan.
  9. We tip per order as servers/bartenders could change throught the cruise.
  10. Pinnacle have access to both the SL and CK for breakfast, lunch and dinner based on # of Pinnacles onboard a sailing.
  11. JS on RCI are also selling out and are significantly more $$$ than a balcony cabin.
  12. I hope they don't take away Retreat and Luminae from SS guests making the SS like the JS on RCI where no Suite Lounge access for JS and Coastal Kitchen restaurant on space available basis for dinner only.
  13. That would be making them in line with JS on RCI ships. Calling it a Suite but not coming with the Suite amenities. Although on RCI JS on ships with Coastal Kitchen can dine there on a space available basis.
  14. JS guests on RCI have Coastal Kitchen access.....for dinner only....based on availability.
  15. If that's the direction Celebrity is heading next up will be no Retreat Lounge access and Luminae for dinner only when available.
  16. On Odyssey it's Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and on Explorer it's Giovanni's Table. Each have slightly different menus. We ate at Giovanni's Italian Kitchen on Odyssey and enjoyed our meals there......but not so much at Giovanni's Italian Kitchen on Wonder.
  17. We had the UDP and ate 2x at Giovanni's Italian Kitchen on Wonder. It was very disappointing to say the least. Same menu as what we had on Odyssey in Oct '23 in their Giovanni's Italian Kitchen but preparation & presentation was very different. I loved the Carbonara on Odyssey....but what I had on Wonder was dry, flavorless and unappealing. One of my DH's favorite dishes is Chicken Parm. What he was served on Wonder...while having a large piece of chidken...was dry and flavorless. We talked with the Chef who offered to make me another Carbonara. It was OK but still missing something. The 2nd night we went I had Lasagna. I've never had Lasagna served in a shallow dish that contained only 1 noodle. I'm used to a square layered version. Pics and menu below
  18. I'd love to have a Reflection sailing moved to Beyond and happy that some got a decent offer. Move me from Beyond TA to Ascent TA without me having to pay an addition $2588....and one day less....and I might feel a bit better than I do now.
  19. Hoping that's not true.....but not surprised if that's how it iwill be. Definitely not to the passenger's advantage.
  20. My TA is checking but wondering how OBC attached to a booking if you transfer to another ship/sail date works. We booked onboard and there was additional OBC for a couple of promotions attached to our Fall '24 Beyond TA booking.
