  1. Previously sailed on EDGE and APEX in a Sky Suite. Got a call from Shoreside Concierge about 2 week prior to APEX cruise last April but none of our requests made it to the ship. No problem as a quick chat with the Butler and all were honored. We sail on EDGE this Friday, not call but an email with a form stating our requests. We'll see if this info makes it to the ship. If it does...great...and, if not, we'll have a chat with the butler.

  3. Thanks LEMJMcC for a great review. We'll be on Wonder for the April 30th sailing in 8644. We also have the UDP and appreciate your honest comments.
  4. Interesting toiletry combo.....guess they're using up old stock. Salt&Breeze are the newest, Bodyography was before them and the shampoo that says Claify has been around for awhile.
  5. Per RCG CEO Jason Liberty "In addition to higher ticket prices, Liberty noted Royal Caribbean Group is seeing big gains in how much it makes from passengers once they're on board ships. The company said the amount it's taking in per passenger from onboard spending was up 30% from 2019" Cruise bookings are soaring — and that means higher prices are on the way -
  6. We'll be on EDGE Feb 24. Thanks for taking us along and for all the pics/tips. Do you know if the Lobster lunch Catamaran cruise offers something for a non-seafood eater?
  7. And TeeRick replied to my comment about wine and supply chain issues.
  8. our experience has been that the wines may be shown on the APP but are not always available with "supply chain issues" mentioned as the reason. We're on EDGE end of Feb so we'll see what they actually have onboard
  9. Cuious about a secondary filter system. Is this something you've been told or see?
  10. Thanks for taking us along. 31 days and we'll be boarding EDGE. Safe Travels home....
  11. Do they still offer a children's menu? My DH isn't an adventurous eater and occasionally had Spaghetti from the children's menu.
  12. Wow....about pushing you to buy a bottle of wine at EDEN. We'll be on EDGE end of February and when we dine at EDEN will enjoy a glass....or two....of included wine. Pressuring you to buy a bottle is so wrong IMHO.
  13. on the App for our EDGE Feb 24 cruise it shows Lobster Roll day 1 lunch, Alaskan Halibut day 2 dinner and Filet Mignon day 6 dinner with no dinner on days 5 and 7 and venue closed the days 8, 9 and 10 of our 10 day cruise. This tells me the app will be updated and menus could change for all days. @Treasure Hunter - do they still offer a children's menu?
  14. I saw someone walk off the ship with a shopping bag full....this was a few years ago but it happened
  15. Thanks....the Cakebread was good. Previously we enjoyed Cherry Pie Pinot on EDGE. Will have to try the Italina Bordeaux...if they have it. We're really looking forward to our cruise on EDGE next month.
  16. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. We've sailed both EDGE and APEX and will be on EDGE again Feb 24. I'm curious what Pinot Noir they're serving in Luminae now.
  17. PDF of the Redesigned MDR menus with info on order based on itinerary & length of cruise. Redesigned Main Dining Menus.pdf
  18. That's OK....enjoy your cruise and, when you can, share your impressions of the new menus.
  19. We have 25" suitcases that we carry on. They've fit through the scanner at every port. Where have you seen that to carry on a suitcase it has to be no larger than a carryon the Airlines allow?
  20. I think a "Live From Jewel of the Seas with the "New" Menus would be a great thread. If you could show pictures and name the dish that would also be very helpful.
  21. Pre new menus on Navigator NYE cruise I asked for 2 Lobsters. They were the best I've had in years on a ship and no extra charge for the 2nd one.
  22. And all over the ship. We found it to be a nice touch. Reidel has "restaurant" glasses that are not as delicate. Reidel Restaurant Wine Glasses
