  1. I don't agree. They will not be able to go to the Haven pool or Haven restaurants if they are not in the Haven which is where his family will be because they paid dearly for it. The experience will be very different.
  2. I agree!! It is a horrible hotel and I would not stay there again if it was for free. I would cancel and book elsewhere.
  3. If affording the room type is the problem, then book a less expensive room, if cost is not the issue, then go and enjoy your time with your children and grandchildren. Make memories and enjoy the time you have with them because you never know when you won't be able too. Life is too short, live each day like it's your last.
  4. I agree with above. We had this issue too when trying to book my children's excursion who had a separate room and reservation. Try calling the ShoreX desk and ask for help booking 866-625-1167
  5. Can you refresh my memory as to what was permitted at Cagney's on the meal plan? Was it 1 starter, 1 soup or salad, 1 entree with 2 sides and 1 dessert? Thanks

  7. Definitely book mid ship or aft. I have cruised in cabins forward, mid and aft and the 2 times I had forward cabins, I had sea sickness. Never again and a reason why I will never book a guaranteed cabin or bid on an upgrade. Not worth it to me
  8. Curious, what is MyTime check in? I also did not see Bamboozled on any of the prebooking sheets, how do you sign up to play? I am starting to think we will not be sitting around the airport for as long as I expected for my 3:00pm flight home.

  11. Where are you getting your info from. When an excursion is booked, the $50 credit is applied at payment, not after you go on the excursion.
  12. Ok, then a price of $79 is not too bad. But the original poster said the $50 credit cannot be applied, are you sure it can be?
  13. My husband loves to do this tour but not at that price. Annoyed that discounts cannot be applied.
  14. Did you purchase the travel insurance through NCL or did you purchase through an outside company?
  15. Disregard: I saw the menu and it comes with whipped cream or ice cream. Does the 7 layer cake include a scoop of ice cream? I don't remember seeing ice cream in pictures.
  16. Phone charger, so easy to forget to pack after charging your phone before you leave. I bought an extra and leave it in my luggage now.
  17. The $40 a day is the gratuities of $20(for club balcony suites and below) times 2 (could be by 3 or 4, depending on number of people in cabin). Most cruise lines charge for gratuities
  18. Safe travels! The weather is pretty crappy right now in NY but just a reason to enjoy the ship more. Have a wonderful cruise!!
  19. My uncle lived there years ago and my nephew purchased there recently. My husband and I grew up very close by to there. Everyone I know who lives there loves it! So convenient to the NYC ports.
