What has been showing in your cruise profile?
Unless you are Diamond, what it says on your ticket has no influence on boarding process. If the correct status is t shown on your cruise card, see guest services onboard. EM
Without a map…but having lived in NYC (but not for many years) take PATH or Amtrak into NY, then subway to whatever station is closest to ferry to Red Hook. Pack light. EM
There is already an OUTRAGEOUS thread about this. It’s halfway down the second page. You can still book as a single. I just did it for Dec. it depends on when the cruise is. If it is high season for families it’s a no go. But I was able to do it in April for August, and last week for early December. But when trying for a last minute cruise, it was no go. EM
The first thing you need to consider is finding an accessible cabin which holds three. Cruise lines seem to think only couples need HC cabins. I know MSC has some with a bunk for the third, and some connecting cabins. EM
When you go to the MDR they will ask your cabin number and that will tell them you are Aurea. I didn’t use the spa, so I don’t know. There was not anyone checking when I went up to Top 19, but it was raining lightly, one out except a man from YC who came out to smoke under the overhang at the Aurea bar. EM
If it is too long to walk, just get a taxi. Don’t be in a hurry to get off the first ship, as check in for the second probably won’t start until 1030-1100. Have a leisurely breakfast, debark with the last guests and make your way to the next ship. EM
You will already have transited the canal, but using the new locks. It appears several of the tours take you to the visitors center at Miraflores Locks, but this one actually takes you through the original locks. If that is what you want, go for it. EM
First of all, you have to know that Essie is a small doll that started to travel with me 20 years ago. She acquired a name and personality, has been on probably 50 cruises, several times to Europe. She has stayed home the last four cruises, since my sister passed. But my roll call for my Dec. cruise has insisted she come, so yes, she does. EM
How long has it been since you/she have had contact with the deadbeat dad? How did she come to be in your care? Maybe you should get the court to give you custody and permission to take her out of the country. EM
