Are you traveling with more than two in a cabin? Four of the six will have bunks on the walls, as they are quad cabins. EM

If you look at cruisedeckplans.com, you will see cabins listed as interior, OV, Vista, Neptune, and Pinnacle. EM

He had to send in a birth certificate with the passport application. It will not come back before the passport. Sooo…does he have another in case the passport does not arrive?

To finish your thought… when and where? There is usually a ship doing 4/5 night cruises out of Miami. EM

Remember, back then there was no buffet or specialty restaurant. Every meal eaten in the MDR. All assigned dining. Few balconies. Things many posters today can’t seem to want to cruise without. EM

You might also ask on the HAL board here. I think it depends on what it takes to keep your children interested/entertained. There will not be anything fancy for kids on any HAL ship. But they do have kids programs. EM

Are you on a Solstice class ship? There are no obstructed cabins in concierge class on any of the ships. EM

The weather in the Caribbean, especially southern, does not change much throughout the year. Should be sunny and very warm, with possible tropical showers. Usually refreshing. It seems you are looking at three different Princess cruises. Have you cruised at all in the past? And are you aware that cruises to Martinique and Guadeloupe require passports? I recommend the one that visits curaçao, as the ABC islands are more desert than lush tropical and will add variety to the cruise. EM

Does this have a ceramic component? I think I read something about it awhile ago on another thread, maybe another board, as to why it won’t work, or quits. Maybe @chengkp75 remembers…EM

Cruisetimetables.com allows you to choose departure ports, and ports of call, as well as ships. It has always been allowed here, it does not sell cruises. Just go to the site and choose ‘cruises to…’. EM

When did they add the Elite breakfast? Granted, our last X cruise was a two night on Equinox in Jan. 2020 (S2S with Carnival Magic 8 night), before that it was 2013 in the Med on Silly. No recollection of an elite breakfast…. EM

Floor to ceiling window now. Splendid view of a lifeboat. The biggest advantage is that the cabin space, layout is the same as the balcony cabins. Couch, etc. EM

Don’t you remember all the walking the checkin clerk had to do? Check your paperwork, then go and retrieve your cards? It saves time. EM

I would book the afternoon departure, because if there is fog in the morning, a lot of your viewing is gone. EM

Paradise and Elation had fridges placed in all cabins when they had their big overhauls. EM

That site ending in TT was notoriously inaccurate. I used a combination of cruisetimetables.coma and cruisecal.com, but cruisecal died with Covid. I still use cruisetimetables. EM

There are cruise lines sailing in Europe that embark in many if not all ports. MSC is one example, Costa is another. NCL does this with Epic in the Med, embarking 7 day cruises in Barcelona or Civitavecchia. Cruise lines also do this in the Caribbean, on cruises that do not touch any US ports. EM

Is she going to need mobility assistance onboard? Distances can be long…. And what about walking in port? The ship can provide mobility assistance once inside the terminal but once onboard, she is on her own. And no chair provided for in ports. EM
