  1. Perk is something that comes with the booking Bev Package, Wifi, Tips, OBC Amenity is something that comes with the room. Luminae, Blu, Retreat Lounge/Sundeck, Laundry, Bar Setup, Mini-Bar setup, Unlimited Specialty dining etc.
  2. I agree you should only be charged $400 if your bid was $200. Something is not right here and it's not tips. Even when tips are charged they are added to the onboard seapass account.
  3. No a trip to the iLounge is required. One the folio has an account configured it can't be changed by you.
  4. If you have the basic package included with your AI booking when you first setup your account select that package. Then go to the iLounge and ask them to add your Elite minutes. Then every time you login you will be presented with a selection of the 2 packages to use for that session. You can then either login on a separate device to use the Elite minutes or logout of the basic package and log back in to use Elite minutes, log off and go back to basic. I don't know why if you have multiple "free" packages they don't allow you to just create separate login's for each. They don't, once you select a package for your folio number they don't allow a second login to be created using the same folio. A trip to iLounge has to be done to accomplish.
  5. There are some restrictions on it. I believe it's code WELCOME100. I believe it has to be a non-refundable deposit and verandah or higher cabin. You should call and ask to have it added to your reservation. They generally will. https://www.celebritycruises.com/cruise-deals/sms-welcome-offer
  6. In AQ chances are very good they will. It's the suites that are the issue. You can always use them on the ceiling. We use them to hang robes and they work much better (don't slide down the wall) when used on the ceiling. Was in a SS 2 weeks ago and didn't work on walls but ceiling was fine.
  7. This is very common for paid guests in Luminae although I expect your hosts insisted on paying. I've been a guest on a couple of occasions where they had no problem putting the charge on my non-suite card.
  8. My only question about the show is where did they find the comfortable blue chairs for the Captains to sit in. They certainly looked like they exceeded the comfort level of any Eden chairs I've sat in.
  9. For solo passengers who pay the 200% single supplement I believe they allow 1 guest in Luminae for suites and Blu for AQ. I've certainly heard of it being done on multiple occasions. It probably is still at the discretion of the Matre'd. The recent zero single supplement sailings I also heard it was not allowed. Before the screaming starts. Remember these people are paying for both berths in the cabin and are not affecting the crowding in these venues.
  10. Recent change in rules re suites being able to dine in Blu. Now only suite levels with unlimited specialty dining included are allowed to dine in Blu on a space available basis. This means Sky Suites and Celebrity Suites are excluded. I believe the "new" Aqua Suite classification is allowed (and I believe the real reason for the change).
  11. I thought you could buy GeoBlue up to 2 days before departure.
  12. Last Chic night is almost always the next to last night of the cruise with Lobster and Wellington.
  13. The Luminae host should have asked who's seapass to charge the $30 pp to or to politely say guests can not be accommodated at that time. If it were me trying it I can assure you I would not be allowed access.
  14. This is what I believe normally happens. We have seen the bartender serve someone who wonders in unknowingly then politely explain the lounge is only for suite guests.
  15. Tip are included on all things included in the Retreat amenities. You will be charged automatic gratuities on anything over and above the amenities which are included with your cabin type. For example you have a premium drink package included. You can have any drink up to the $15 limit and the gratuity is included. If you order a $21 glass of wine in Luminae you will be charged $6 + $1.20 gratuity. Celebrity is not an all inclusive line even in the highest Retreat categories.
  16. If your suite includes complimentary specialty dining then yes the tips for that dining is included. If not an the specialty dining is purchased separately then the tip will be charged to your bill. If you were to go on a shore excursion with a tour guide of course the tip to the tour guide would not be included because you are in the Retreat as the tour was purchased separately outside the Retreat cruise fare.
  17. Talking about butter. Are they the full size pats just wrapped in foil or the small tub with the peal off top. We had the small ones last week on Summit and they should have brought me a trash can for the wrappers by the time I was done with my bread (oh I mean butter transport food)😁
  18. I didn't think it included specialty dining under the old $59/$69 price. Maybe they significantly raised the price and included. It was my understanding that this was only offered to the very top level suites. I don't think SS or CS would be offered.
  19. You can't book Aqua currently without perks so I wouldn't worry about it. Your invoice should have something like "Always Included" either as a line item or in the Promotions section.
  20. If you just changed your room in the same category nothing about your rate including AI should have changed. If you changed to a different category then you were re-priced at the prevailing rate where you would have had to select cruise only or AI rate. If you were not asked, shame on the rep who handled the transaction.
  21. Generally the tips charge is a mess up in the way they do accounting for the included gratuities where they apply the charge and then a comparable credit. Sounds like the credit was erroneously dropped.
  22. Was not on menu on Equinox in Sept. Was on menu last week on Summit.
  23. There was a program before covid where certain suites could pay for retreat access for ~$59 pp/pd. It may have been limited to the upper tier suites and was a very limited number. I know it was suspended after the restart but since Celebrity has declared covid behind us maybe they have restored it.
  24. As stated it was previously included in the service charge. Not broken out separately. Yes many of us added a small amount on top. This has nothing to do with not tipping or removing tips.
