  1. Lucky you. I stopped using my TA as she also gives ice in the winter now- no value.
  2. So will we. But on the Edge class ships- We LOVE Eden!!
  3. I would cancel the transfers. The bus makes many stops at various terminals- loading and unloading many passengers luggage and the passengers. Takes long and to me stressful. I would also call an uber- or lyft- they are all over the terminal and come quickly.
  4. We love Royal and Celebrity. However prices are getting insane- we enjoy sailing in a suite on both and will not be able to sail on four cruises a year. Cutting down to three or two- and soon will no longer be able to sail in a suite on either. While the passengers might be loyal to Royal- Royal isn't loyal to it's passengers.
  5. The rooftop garden on the edge class ships not nearly as nice as the Lawn Club Grill. Location poor people just walking through the restaurant as if it is a main walkway- so disturbing. Also we found service at the rooftop garden not nearly as good as the Lawn club grill. Food was good however.
  6. Oh yes. Our favorite speciality restaurant on the Silhouette and Reflection. We enjoy the great dinner menu. Lunch menu not the same. We book a package and go at least twice for dinner- enjoy.
  7. just before the pandemic, we got beautiful thick monogrammed bath robes to take home. Our last royal suite on the equinox we got nothing. So who knows. I probably should have immediately asked but got nothing.
  8. We really enjoy the celebrity ships. The edge class ships are truly beautiful. On the M and S class ships, we find the entertainment poor to ok- and if not happy walk up after a few minutes. For entertainment, the Oasis Royal ships win hands down. We also have a celebrity Silhouette cruise booked for Jan. The Lawn club grill is a wonderful spot for a great, fresh dinner. We also enjoyed Murano's and le petite chef. Each ship has it charm. Enjoy cruising!
  9. Then that would be fine. We bid and got a Jr. Suite. Since the Liberty doesn't have a coastal kitchen or true suite sun deck and lounge like the Oasis class ships a really nice large cabin. Enjoy.
  10. What probably will happen bassed on my experience, those in the Jr. suites will bid up and get the grand suites and you will probably get a Jr. Suite. However I wish you good luck!
  11. Not easy to book dinner in coastal kitchen if you are in a Junior suite. It is based on "availability". If you eat when the restaurant opens, possible. But probably not daily. I would suggest you consider booking a few specialty restaurants or if you budget can swing it, a grand suite.
  12. bring a tray from home- I bring a starbucks coffee container and can take 4 cups back to my suite.
  13. We prefer a concierge suite and definately a royal suite (1 1/2 bath rooms) The very top of the ship IMO not a great location. Elevators tend to be crowded and not easy to get up and down due to the crowds during peak hours.
  14. We used to give a generous tip to our butler. Now a team, that will save us money on the tips.
  15. Have done both. Luminae so much better. Service 5 star. In AQ tables on the Edge in the middle of a hallway- many tables very noisy with people looking in. The suite lounge on the edge is wonderful, as well as the suite deck. Not a fan of the AQ perks. If we cannot do a suite, we book a well located balcony cabin and dine in speciality restaurants with the savings. The AQ cabins are the same as balcony cabins- with a few of the AQ perks which we don't use at all.
  16. If you do have health issues, ask you primary care physician for a prescription for the antiviral. Bring the medication with you. We also bring other antibiotics with us if we should get ill. Even tylenol and aspirin expensive on the ship! We bring it all.
  17. Johnny Rockets makes to order omlets and eggs. No charge for breakfast. We enjoy the fresh breakfast their some mornings.
  18. Have done laundry and dry cleaning on board. Never any problems. I think pricey of course. We get some free laundry. I never put anything that I would hand wash in the laundry and limit my laundry to pj's, underware and inexpensive tee shirts. The dry cleaning is as good as home.
  19. Honestly, while we sail in suites, last time we went to labaee we were bitten by sand flies at barefoot beach. Remember to bring bug spray- necessary!
  20. If you are in a cabana or the beach club, no need to bring towels or worry about returning-
  21. Nothing like cococay. Food choices and venues not the same- much better on cococay- but nice day at labadee- Haven't been their in two years- perhaps nicer now Will be going in August.
  22. We enjoy sea days- very relaxing. Get up , enjoy coffee then slip on swim suit. Go for breakfast. Then typically settle down at a comfortable, shady location by the pool. We enjoy a quiet hot tub and pool, especially early when many people are sleeping. Depending upon the ship, lunch at a nice venue- in the afternoon, back to the pool The evening perhaps spa services, including hair blow out- during the early evening the martini bar. Then dinner and show- we also enjoy trivia and just strolling around the ship and looking in the stores. We vary our day depending on the activities offered. But mostly enjoy just relaxing.
