As far as dining, we went once to mdr on Prima for lunch. Hostess eyes got big, rushed us in, got table by doors to kitchen, probably worst spot in 270 degree view restaurant. At least 30 minutes before first app showed. Guy in charge stopped by to apologize without us saying anything. Nothing improved. Glad CN apparently improved on that ship since our sailing. Our experience nothing we see on land other than maybe cable company.

Note suites on POA can't order Cagneys for room service. Regular room service, sure.

People need to be specific about ship when asking as it has been an evolution. I would agree on the larger ships the service is watered down or non existent from some concierges.

The whole thing is ridiculous. Has been since 2015. Go out to dinner with a package and immediately told you are limited. So much for a relaxing vacation that you paid for. Can't dish up an extra cup of soup sitting in vat that is free in buffet the next day?

We went twice on Prima and it food wise was identical to Escape. A bit busier but still not busy. Very quiet at dinner. As overflow it is not exactly next door, you have to walk 2/3 of the ship width wise to get there.

Have not sailed Joy but it looks nice. Sailed BA and hated it. Sailed Escape to Bermuda and loved it. Of course you'll get different opinions but BA and GA too crowded imo.
