On our upcoming trip, 7 and 8 pm do show up as being available on most evenings. Those are usually the first reservations to fill up.I suspect they have a quota for number of early reservations for each time. If you are interested in dining at a particular day and time, book early. On our recent cruise, we booked months before. Once on board, there was very limited availability and there was a cancellation list.

I am not sure if the OP was actually going to make reservations in advance.

If you have been assigned to Aqua Class, Blu would be your assigned dining venue for breakfast and dinner. You would also have free access to the Persian Gardens as that is also a perk for those in Aqua. Enjoy.

You have assumed wrong. You get the Premium minutes. The best wifi I had on my trip was that sitting on the beach in St Maarten and at Diamonds International in Jamaica. The ship's internet was spotty.

On our recent cruise on Beyond, there were a number of advertisements on doors from a travel agency. I assumed the cruisers had booked with this company. There was no means of identifying the occupants but only the name of the travel agency. We counted 16 on our floor alone. Tacky... Those were the only "decorations" we saw on our floor.

Solstice usually docks at AJ. There is a shuttle which takes you downtown. I think we paid $5 for the round trip. I think the walk is about a mile.

I would probably go with the Constellation. It is a smaller ship than the Beyond. The Beyond is really special with nicer amenities but I would not spend 5K more for the experience. A factor to consider in the particular itinerary.

When we were onboard, there were no reservations for the dining rooms. You just show up to the dining room of your choice. There was a notice that there were no reservations for the standard dining rooms. Of course, you needed reservations for the Specialty Restaurants.

The latest ship sailing is the Beyond in that class and there are improvements over the Apex. Both offer good experiences. Make your decision based on price and itinerary. If you cancel before final. payment, you will get your deposit back. The amount paid for the refundable deposit is built into the cruise fare and would be paid with the final payment.

When returning at that time, there will be a pizza station and pasta station open. In addition, there will be bread, sandwich meats, cheeses, desserts and a salad/fruit bar. Then there is room service or getting someone to eat when off the ship.

One piece of that "pizza" is more than I can handle. Tasteless. I will run to the grill for one of those Hamburg patties lying in the pan of drippings and load it up with condiments.

That was our same experience. Really enjoyed the Century and the menus. A classic cruise ship. My comments on the Solstice in Alaska: - friendly staff - glad I did not pay for internet service - dinners at the buffet with the fresh seafood arriving from port were fantastic - our room was rather tired and needed a renovation - Port Valet was a great service that was offered Would go on an Alaskan cruise again.

On the Beyond, we were invited to a Music and Mixology Class. When we arrived, there were 4 glasses of wine on each place setting but the class was a drawing class. No music and no mixology. There ended up being very few of us in the class and there was plenty of wine for seconds, thirds, etc.

Tuscan has gone south since they changed the original menu many years ago. We tried it a few times and finally we said "enough". Murano still offers an exceptional meal. What Tuscan has going for it on the S-Class ships is the view.
