  1. I believe that is the symbol for connecting staterooms.
  2. Yes, there are tables for 10. Although there are no reservations for MDR dining on the Beyond, you should visit the restaurant you want to dine in and explain the size of your party to the host/hostess. It may be wise to have dinner in the same restaurant to make it easier for all. Although you may have an early set dining, it is really Anytime Dining. Told us to show up when we wanted to eat but we were not a large party.
  3. Above Drink Packages in Manage Reservation, there is a link in faint blue which says. "View all Cruise Planner Packages" and the site you are looking for will appear.
  4. Short ribs, blue cheese shuffle and creme brule--- served with Celebrity Vineyards sparkling wine.
  5. Traditional dining is not taking place on the Edge Class. You just show up when you want to dine at any of the 4 dining rooms. However, if you have found a wait staff to your liking, you can request to be seated in their section.
  6. There are much better choices for them but not on the Beyond. That itinerary will feature an even older group of passengers. And when we cruised on Beyond during. a school vacation week, there were very few teens on board. I would agree to pick a cruise that stops at Coco Cay or one with more activities for young people. Bored teens do not make a good family experience. On the other hand, if YOU want to sail on the Beyond to those islands, go for it!
  7. Yes, the continental breakfast is available on the Edge class ships.
  8. My first thought is that is a late drop off from a cruise ship in Fort Lauderdale. What time does the ship dock? In any case, we took the ship's transfer to the airport. We were in the last group as we had a 2 pm flight. 8:30 was our assigned time to leave the ship and board the bus. It was chaos. The line to get a bus was extremely long as we had to wait for busses to load and then return from the airport. It was a real slow process. We were happy that we did not have an early flight. The transfer was booked using OBC but the price would have been the same taking a taxi.
  9. If they improved the website navigation, people would not be held captive and have to listen to that endless dribble about the Retreat, seeing wild animals in Alaska, learning about the same chef, etc.
  10. I would miss the excellent breakfasts in Blu. I feel they are outstanding. We also think the Persian Gardens (Thermal) on the Edge Class is worthwhile. We take advantage of that. On our last cruise on Beyond, we went to dinner in Blu 3 times. The other times we went to Specialty Restaurants and to one of the MDRs. Comes down to dollars...
  11. On the Beyond, there were NO reservations for any of the MDRs. You just were told to show up when you wanted to eat. And this was with a nearly full cruise.
  12. After you sign in, go to Manage Reservation and then to Specialty Dining Packages. Individual restaurant reservations can be found in that section As for the MDRs, you just show up to one of them when you are ready to eat.
  13. If you are going to spend the extra $$$ for that class, then Silhouette would be my choice. The reasons have been already cited above.
  14. Is this a reference to Celebrity Vineyards?
  15. The choices vary based on inventory. There were supply chain issues on our recent cruise. There were even differences in what was available from restaurant to restaurant. The 'best' champagne was Prosecco on board. No kidding.
  16. Agree. With very high demand in the industry and Celebrity ships sailing over 95% full, there may not be a need to attract interest. Our last cruise sailed at 98%.
  17. Don't rush into making a decision. Do your research and then compare prices and perks being given. There is always a sale going on.
  18. You should check your invoice to see what other perks you may have gotten. Many cruisers pay for a fare which includes tips, basic internet and a classic (basic) drink package. If not, your account will be assessed a gratuity fee which will pretty much use up most of that $240 on a 7 day cruise. If your travel agent has given you that amount to spend, you will have to wait until you cruise to spend it. If from Celebrity, you can book items in advance through Managing Reservation or by calling Celebrity.
  19. Our excursion was with a trip that had a limited number of seats available. There was no wait list available and no way to prioritize. As soon as the openings became available, it was booked.
  20. I have found kids on Celebrity have not been a problem for us. Sure, there is not much for pre-teens to do and they will travel in small packs and hangout in the pools. But nothing like our negative experiences on RCL. I suggest booking a cruise greater than 7 days and being port intensive.
  21. We had wanted to go on an excursion but it was sold out prior to sailing. No wait list was available. When we got on board, we checked with the Excursion Desk and there were cancellations. I was told this happens often. Good luck!
  22. I called Celebrity 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Each time, I got a message that someone would be with you in approximately 4 minutes. It was about an hour each time. My issues included changing a reservation, making a price adjustment, etc. I never had issues like that before. It was unfortunate that there was no system to allow a call back phone number when an agent was available. I had to listen to the endless ads.
  23. If you are in a rush , there is a McDonald in Jeju. Burgers are probably better than the Mast Grill.
  24. One concern that has not been addressed deals with being late in getting back to the ship. On a private tour, the ship will not wait for your group. I have questions regarding the experience of the OP and the tour guide.
  25. The evening show on the Beyond was very loud. I was glad I was not finishing up my meal in the Eden restaurant. I will. not comment on the quality of the show...
