  1. Since you disembark in Honolulu you can spend an overnight or more.
  2. At one time I think Royal Caribbean tried rotational dining similar to what Disney does, I think when Quantum first sailed. NCL tried the one dining room always formal thing and has abandon that idea.
  3. The main pools on Millennium class have stairs. I'm not sure about solarium pools.
  4. Looking at the 24/25 Caribbean itineraries released last week it seems only about 20% of cabins can be booked as specific cabins all the rest are not booked but not available to book, assuming held as guarantees. Neither of my preferred rooms on the Sun were available to book. I sent an email to the customer relation address asking why. We’ll see what they say if they bother to answer. If I can’t get my preferred room for my Pacifc Coastal later this week I won’t have much incentive to continue booking.
  5. I would guess the handicapped rooms were made available to all about the same time the family verandah rooms were made available for only 2.
  6. It took two weeks for a reply and by that time I had decided to cancel that cruise and book another so I'm not sure if the fix would have helped me to book other excursions on my own or if I would have had to send an email for each excursion I wanted to book.
  7. send an email to: customerrelations@princesscruises.com the fixed the same error for me I sent the ship, date, confirmation # and the error message and they booked the excursion for me
  8. All of Iceland is below the arctic circle.
  9. I don't like the different Sunset bar on Reflection and my fave room doesn't exist on Reflection since the pool and buffet are on the same deck.
  10. Princess will be releasing Hawaii 2024 next week.
  11. On sale April 19. See other threads for itineraries and prices.
  12. Caribbean2024-25Standard_PlusSailingScheduleFaresAmenities_2023_0405 3.xls This has prices
  13. I have not found this to be true. Although I always book via a TA and all my fare payments are processed by my TA. I have always gotten a refund for canceled excursion, spa, etc.
  14. When I've canceled excursions well in advance of the cruise I never received an email confirmation and I found the amount of time for the refund depended on the card I had used. When I used a Citi Visa it took 10-14 days, lately I've been using a Delta AMX and I see the refund the following day. Last summer Princess canceled an excursion after we left home but before we boarded the ship, some on the roll call reported a refund I was given OBC.
  15. Or maybe a 2 day and 3 day. It looks like April is missing for the Sun, I wonder if they will cruise her the canal and back.
  16. We paid $209 per person for a 5 night itinerary in August 2024 and $289 per person for a 15 night itinerary in January 2023.
  17. My final payment isn’t until next year but I can make reservations now.
  18. Caribbean, Crown, Emerald and Ruby could be referred to as Grand Plus class as they all have an extra deck of staterooms leading to a higher tonnage and capacity than the Grand class ships.
  19. Sapphire and Diamond are sisters. Ruby and Emerald are sisters. Sapphire/Diamond are not sisters to Ruby/Emerald. The 4 ships are not a class. NCL has a Gem class, not Princess.
  20. Before the most recent revolution of S class all balconies had taller bigger tables that were great for eating. E class may have bigger tables in the higher end suits, but I don't think any lower categories ever had a table adequate for eating.
  21. The B2B would transport you from one US location to another, can't be done legally on a foreign flagged ship without stopping at a distant foreign port.
  22. Your proposed B2B violates the PVSA and wouldn't be allowed. IF booked on a legal B2B in the same room you do not have to pack and repack, if booked in a different room you just move your stuff but don't have to take your stuff off the ship. One medallion would function for both legs.
  23. Two very different ships. The only area I see as comparable is specialty dining.
