  1. I agree 100%. We spent 5 hours waiting in Haifia and watching the gunboats. Who shot first is the politically correct answer.
  2. This is the best answer since you said 'WE'. The only small tip I would add; log off your device when you switch, then you won't seemingly kick off another device.
  3. When you log on and buy the Internet you will be presented with a 'coupon' for a free length of the cruise. Only on Oasis and Quantum class ships.
  4. We tried, but they were throwing rockets at each other. 50-50 chance
  5. 3-4 night cruises hide the astronomical cost.
  6. Denali does not fully open until June 5th. Of course, June has the most daylight. No one can predict the weather, but you will see more mountain snow in June. Somewhat fewer kids in June.
  7. We have done Seward to Vancouver twice. 2 couples. Arrive 4-5 days early at Anchorage airport. Rent a big SUV at the airport. (best for elk strikes) Make the scenic drive to Denali. Stay at a hotel for 2-3 days in Denali. (reservations ASAP) I recommend Denali Bluffs. Make the trip into the national park. Make the scenic drive back to Anchorage. Hotel and dinner in Anchorage. Take the early AM train to Seward. Make your own train reservations. Embark morning, take a taxi to the train station. Drop your RCI luggage at the tent to the right of the train. (RCI will take your luggage via truck directly to your cabin) Enjoy your scenic train ride to Seward. Short walk to the ship.
  8. On Odessey, they did CK AND Chops. It's probably dependent on how many Pinnacles are onboard. Chops, on Quantum class, is a horrible venue for breakfast. A nice view of the lifeboats.
  9. It's equally dependent on sea days, the hotel director, and your ship. There will be only one formal night with pictures with the captain and maybe lobster. The other two will be 'dress to impress' or 'wear your best'. We have found there is no usual.
  10. The weather issues are the main reason.
  11. Lot's of stuff in the mix. Since I haven't been on a ship that showed 12 games on a Sunday afternoon I can't speak to Sunday ticket. I think Starlink streaming will impact sports on a cruise ship in a good way. The great unknown is whether RCI is willing to pay each ship's commercial establishment cost of the Sunday Ticket. It may be that they are doing a trial to gauge alcohol sales and what venue on the ship is appropriate.
  12. That certainly is good news for football fans.
  13. My response was too short and poorly worded. I was referring to a port or starboard side deck overlooking the water for sail away. In any case, they should use their cabins' balconies.
  14. They did before the D clubs. That was a long time ago. We were Platinum in 2009 on Legend and invited into what was the only lounge.
  15. I apologize. How many times have you heard, I'm positive. I just read a post that said there are no NFL games on RCI TV. (in MAY) again sorry.
  16. Excellent. That's all I asked for. I'm not trying to say you are wrong. I am deeply disappointed that RCI and RCG will screw their customers. To all those I doubted, I'm ashamed and humbled.
  17. Give me the quote. Is that so hard? How could you possibly know? I'm absolutely saying all I want is proof, NOT INTERPRETATION. You have always been an excellent source of info. All I'm asking for is proof RCI is trying to screw its customers.
  18. I have not seen any quotes. Frankly, I have no idea why outside of group TAs this would be true.
  19. Sorry, I'm biased. You are absolutely right.
  20. Sorry, my airline Delta is all but non-existent.
  21. We have seen Patriots games in the med. May is not football season!
  22. There's a schizophrenic issue at RCI it's a Concierge club on the sign and lounge on the letter. OR Suite. both are the same.
  23. The absolute best answer. This question is asked far too often.
  24. Way too many passengers are under the impression RCI has Sunday Ticket. Over the years the number of games has increased dramatically. In the Caribbean, you get two afternoon games two 4 o'clock games, a Sunday night, and a Thursday night. As others have pointed out, Med is really late.
