  1. same for us we are self starters! ..but our Butler was always knocking on our door... wanting to do for us..Truthfully, she was a pest. folks at the Retreat desk were very helpful. often with.instant results sorry for those who will miss the Butler in Sky Suites , esp if they booked with that perk We are happy to go back to AQ Class..we missed BLU and thermal suites!
  2. looks much more appealing! great beef is served at Lawn Club Grill on ships that have that.. and you used to pick the piece you wanted and watched it being cooked..dessert cookie yummy! we miss that on E Class! Rooftop Grill not as good!
  3. dessert and pastries in CAFE BACCIO are still good.. but my fav there is an IGLU!
  4. shows on E class ships are excellent..wonder why there's such a big diff with the other ships. ? Good solo/ group acts are very hit or miss..
  5. oh yes..forgot that one. Have not seen any ads in TV lately . Wonder what the next theme will be? Maybe Modern Luxury = bringing your own butler"!
  6. you can check the Ports board to get specific info by Port
  7. We're going to Fine Cut on night 1.. another big b-day on X!
  8. agree..consideration goes a long way!
  9. too complicated for X to handle.. if Team approach is the way..then lower level suites will get the Team.
  10. a couple we met at our pre cruise hotel..on a Pacific Coastal on X , ..cruised mainly to add to their gallery of Park West at home..They loved everything about it. Most all of us just smiled and wondered why?
  11. art and craft classes..would be nice
  12. art and craft classes..would be nice
  13. we bring on 4 of the Fiji or bottled waters we prefer...buy others as we go.. we bring refillable thermos lined trvl btls with clips for excursions and our mini brita pitcher. We put it in our carry on wheelies we dislike the taste of what X has given us in AQ lately, but we'll find out when we cruise.. Not sure if bad taste is the prodict or the containers
  14. i see.. well hope that on ASCENT they'll have something nice. Guess LLPs stated preference for local businesses has gone away! Politics aside, most stuff from China is sub par but often hard to avoid.
  15. they have made it more like a food court..pick your choice and line up.. we go early so hope that works out when we cruise on APEX . We prefer the 2 smaller dining rms next up for us will be BLU on ASCENT so not anticipating issues..although many were abandoning Luminae on BEYOND...
  16. my CO Bigelow shower gel frim Manhattan store says made in Italy.
  17. Luminae on BEYOND was less than stellar....food, service and decor..plus crowded at times. We think.it is over hyped. . Go with Murano!
  18. Hope they will have the CO Bigelow products. We use it our place in Fla..very refreshing...and no allergy issues. I prefer the pump bottles over shower dispensers. I bring my own Enjoy brand shampoo and am booked at the Kerastase salon, they have amazing products there for frizzy hair like mine
  19. As an aside...many Retreat/suite guests now prefer BLU to Luminae We did Perhaps Celebrity should acknowledge this and re think Luminae menu choices..add some of the favs from BLU.
  20. no black tie ...rare but you can if u want sports jacket or nice shirt and slacks wide range but a bit elevated than casual. Suggest you do a search for recent dress threads or chk X website..
  21. sorry all, I see that I repeated what I posted previously..post #30. At least my recollection was consistent
  22. Luck of the draw if you get a cabin with AC issues (we did) or a leaky toilet or shower ( down the hall from us..blowrr in hallway) or a mildew condition that will not quit in your shower and on shower curtain.(like we did) we had 2 cruises on Inf close in time., way pre Covid...On one we had no cabin issues at all , but on the other we had constant AC trouble. Repairs often made with parts taken from. other cabins not in use. old ship is one thing but system failures are another story!
