Back in 1983 she had a unique itinerary. 7 nights Miami to Barbados or 7 nights Barbados to Miami. Nice B/B without repeating ports. Outdoor stairway to the tiny Viking Crown Lounge.

Very well maintained. We felt like we were on a cruise ship and not an amusement park @ sea. Limited dining choices , large outdoor Windjammer dining area, happy crew. Small enough to cruise from Tampa.

As a former TA FOR 17+ years booking only cruises , I can vouch that a short 3 or 4 nighter is a poor choice to recommend to a skeptical First Time Cruiser. Learned that pretty quickly 🤔 when following up upon return.

Just off the Brilliance. Diamond Lounge is on deck 13 overlooking the pool area. Never visited @ breakfast because the coffee machine was always “out of service”. Evening was open from 5-8pm . Nice selection of appetizers that changed up every day. No open bar , just use your daily Diamond Coupons. Slow bar waiter service (as all bar waiter service since the Beverage Packages.)

My TA just checked your QM2 sailing 11/20/24 Cabins assignable , refundable deposits , rate code N1A .

Any Diamond lounge with a Coffee Machine that is not always out of service would get my vote.

I believe that OBC from your TA is Refundable . If the OBC is from Cunard Promo Rate Code or Group Amenity , it is Not Refundable. However , we have never had any OBC leftover to confirm.

Just had the same ruined luggage problem with someone's bottle of cologne or perfume leaking from their checked bag on QM2 embarkation in Brooklyn. Still can't get the smell out of the luggage (now (5 months later) after multiple washings.

Aboard the Brilliance last week. Anytime Dining booked. Onboard reserved dining times on theApp. Received the same Table for 2 every night.

Cunard provides 2 confirmations to the TA. Agent Copy and Guest Copy . Just ask your TA for your Guest Copy , it is as official as it can get .

OP gave cruising a try . As a former TA for 17 years I found there are were about 5% of people that I booked that found cruising was not for them after trying it.☹️

Yes , many tables for 2 in Britannia although some may be inches from another table for 2 .

It’s over ! Your cruise is over , get off . The sooner all are off , the sooner the new guests can board . Recall how eager you were to board .

Airfare and flights depend on the Cruise Line . Cunard Choice Air is very reasonable and allows you to choose airline and flights . Post your question on Forum here for your cruiseline.

Just remember that Presidents Week cruises will have far more families onboard than every other February week. Bahamas weather much like South Florida. Pack after checking forcast days before sailing.

Cunard Air for 1 way when booking from the US can be very reasonable. Seats can usually be chosen @ the airline website.

16 Cunard cruises under my belt. All with a dark suit for the Formal nights and had plenty of company dressing the same ..

Work may begin during this last sailing before drydock . Closed off areas may be the biggest nuisance .

This is a big reason why Tables for 2 are now so popular .

We use to always purchase the airport transfers from Cunard onboard. We book flights earlier than what Cunard Complete Air offers from EWR/JFK/LGA. We do Self Walk Off to get on the first bus and have made it with time to spare every time despite flight departure times around 11am. Last cruise we tried Uber to EWR , worked out well $90 so we will use Uber again.

Those QM2 Obstructed Balcony cabins are shown at the top of this Forum .With luck a Balcony Guarantee could be to a unobstructed category also. I would have to be frightened beyond belief of ship movement to not swap an Inside for any Balcony on any itinerary.

OP's problem may be that neither guest on that booking is 21 or over ?

I have no experience with the Grills , but us Brittania commoners would be reserving things like Spa , Speciality restaurants , Planetarium , Shore tours using OBC , etc. .
