Called the phone # (Purser) listed to make an appointment with the Future Cruise desk , was told FCD no longer available. Also no mention of FCD in daily activities or forms outside of Future Cruise desk , so I did not go farther.

3 times around Deck 7 on the QM2 = 1.1 mile. It is a bit of a race course at times of the day and weather. Most all walk counter-clockwise but there are always those that fight the flow.

On QM2 now .Stand near your cabin door or visit a public space for more reliable signal . Still logs you out often without warning.

You are correct . The Optional Gala night is on May 17 , the 2 night segment from Germany . Confused that it shows on my Cunard Cruise Calendar. My error . So my 8 night TA on the 18th has only 3 Gala Nights .

On this sailing Optional Gala is first , then Black & White , then Masquerade .

Upon first arrival in cabin I wipe down all cabin touch points with disinfectant pads . Been doing this from even before covid.

OP’s questions seem to be about least cost for a TA. Monitor TA’s that do not have a theme , non summer . In the US Cunard has 1 Sale after another . Some better than others watch for the ones with Paid Grats , upgrades , speciality dinners ,and OBC, then book. Find a good travel agent that has a Group for better rate and some amenities. additional . Cunard permits travel agents to discount their best rates . ( can’t advertise them , must contact). Cunard does require that you cancel and rebook to take advantage of a lower fare .

I hope that Cunard got out the paint brushes to attack the balcony rust issues during these days in port.

According to my TA's Polar booking system, May 18th TA has been 100% Waitlisted for some time now but on occasion a cabin opens up and is quickly booked.

On RCI , Military is a Rate Code by itself , not a discount off of another Rate Code . RCI offers it on select sailings. It may or not be the best Rate Code available to you for your sailing .

As long as your cabin is bookable as a double occ. and your cabin location has not exceed lifeboat capacity, you should be okay with just paying 1 more port charges and taxs. You may also qualify for a better Rate Code.

What is nice about Shareholder OBC’s on Cunard unlike many other cruise lines , is that they are “stackable” with other OBC’s such as Military, Cunard Sale , Cunard Group amenity , TA , Future Cruise . I have them all on our next QM2 in May 😁

You are not looking at Princess "from "rates are you? Did you actually create an option for the cabin category you wish on the Princess site then shop the TA's?
