After a long overnight flight, you will be tired/exhausted, do you really want to drag yourself and luggage maybe using stairs/elevators on different trains. Since there are 5 people, use a car service, you will be met after you exit the baggage area and be dropped off at the door of your hotel.

Check out International Friends. They go on disembarkment days from Southampton dock with a stops at Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor then dropped off at the door of certain London hotels, LHR hotels. I was there late 1979, my sister in law lived there. I was thinking HOHO if close by. Maybe Princess post cruise excursion as flight home will be very late.

Can you walk to attractions in the area or need a taxi? We have knee problems so slow walking.

I took Princess post excursion. After the excursion they let people off at the train station then continued on to the airport.

Since Value Trip website only shows the hotel price, I would check Hyatt Place hotel price (no tax) for your dates then check what Value Trips hotel price than compare.

The credit card is to hold the reservation, like any other hotel that asks for a credit card. You pay at the hotel. You cancel through the hotel direct. The hotel will add a small $ to your hotel bill and it will be removed if you do not purchase anything at the hotel. The price on their site is only the hotel price. The confirmation email will show the total price - hotel and tax. You can sign up at checkin for a $ shuttle to Port Everglades.
