I had the hotel call the taxi company in advance to reserve a taxi for embarkment day. The taxi driver said embarkment and disembarkment days are the busiest days for the taxi companies. The Premier Inn West Quay had a taxi phone beside the elevator.

I am cruising to Hawaii Sept 2024 on the Ruby from San Francisco. I am looking at doing one of the Princess excursions in Honolulu - Polynesian Cultural Center Luau, There are 3 different excursions offered. If you heard anybody taking one of the excursions, if you can find out how they enjoy it and which one they took. We don’t want to do a private tour.

A great way to see another part of Britain to/from London, Southampton and Dover. If I book my air through Princess EzAir, the air is covered under PVP. If I book my air direct with the airline, is the air covered under PVP?

I stayed at Premier Inn Ferry Terminal. I took National Express Coach and a short taxi ride from the Ferry Terminal to the hotel. We took a taxi to/from hotel to Dover Castle. We walked into the town for lunch. I walked through Premier Inn parking lot to reach the waterfront. I enjoyed sitting and watching the ocean. Last time, there a few homeless people sleeping along the sidewalks around 17th St. If walking during the daytime would be ok, at night I would take the bus (not frequent) or Uber.

I wrote to the Hilton Rome Airport about their shuttle into Rome, they no longer offer the shuttle. They mention that the train station is close to the airport. This is what they send me. We had not been to Rome before, so I thought it was a great way to see some of Rome sites before getting to the hotel. I am not sure of the since it was 2019, in was mid afternoon, we walked through the airport, checked in, rested a bite, then dinner.

I think I saw that these cruises are non refundable?

I am posting here as more people might see the question. I have also posted on the Italy thread. I was In Sicily 5-6 yrs ago. I don’t remember the port area as I was on a Princess excursion. I will again be in Sicily in Nov. I have not found any excursions that I am interested in. Is there anything in Messina port area to see?

I took the disembarkation post cruise excursion for $179.95. I had wanted the other excursion but it was cancelled. We saw what was posted on the excursion description. It was a great way to see Rome on the way to FCO. The bus let people off at the train station then the rest were dropped off at FCO. We arrived at FCO mid afternoon. I got off at FCO, walked through the airport to Hilton Rome Airport (covered walkway to the hotel). We had a flight the next morning.

I had a Sicily port about 5-6 yrs ago. I can not remember what was in the port area as I was on a Princess excursion. I will be stopping again in Nov. There are no Princess excursions I am interested in doing. Is there anything around the port area to walk and see?

There is suppose to be a “Book Early, Save More” book July 6-Sept 5, 2023. Not sure what it is about.

I had purchased OBC and thought I could use them to purchase excursions in advance and learned that, if you purchase OBC under On Board Services, you could only use these OBC while on the ship, can not be used to purchase excursions in advance. There are refundable and will be added to your cabin account and could be used for anything onboard the ship. Any OBC leftover will be refunded. You will receive a card stating that $xx has been added to your account.

Which airport are you talking about Southampton airport or Heathrow - LHR (London)?

Princess is bringing out a sale July 6-Sept 5, I not sure what it is, the price might help.
