It is a 3rd booking party. Free to book and they only offer Hyatt Place on 10th Ave, FLL. They do have black out dates. On their site, their only show room rate without tax. They email confirmation with total room cost. If you want to modify or cancel you contact Hyatt Place direct. I had booked direct with Hyatt Place for Feb 2023. Once Value Trips prices for 2023 came out (Dec 2022) and I received my confirmation, I cancelled my direct booking and saved $91 for the night. I had free breakfast. www.valuetrips.com

Did KFC taste any different from the USA? I drink Coke/Pepsi and have found each country has their own taste, some I like and others not.

For WestJet, if you pick your seats in advance, you have to pay. Seats are free when you do boarding pass at 24 hours or airport.

I have stayed for many years when going to FLL for a few days at Best Western Oceanside. The hotel is 100 yds from ocean (close to ocean within paying to be waterfront), bar that sells food, $ washer/dryer, bus outside the door, walking distance to water taxi, friendly staff, clean rooms with refrigerator and microwave. No shuttle from airport to the hotel, you sign up for a $ shuttle to Port Everglades.

As I posted on my thread above, I had a free breakfast at Hyatt Place booking through Value Trips in Feb. Value Trips does not ask for Hyatt membership #. At the hotel they do not ask if you are a member. I had asked at the front desk, what was on for breakfast. They do not ask for payment for breakfast. You walk into breakfast room, no one asked for payment or room number. Last time while staying at Hyatt Place which I had booked through Value Trips, while at he hotel, I gave them my Hyatt #, I did not get points. You do not get points booking through Value Trips or any 3 party booking agency.

Thank you for the information and names of companies. We take tours to see the port, not the stores, if we have time then may go into a store, not really into shopping. What currency did you use? Euro?

I have taken International Friends tour with stops at Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor before being dropped off at the door of my London hotel. We arrived around 6pm. A great way to see these 3 places and being dropped off at the door of certain hotels. In June 2022, I took Princess post cruise excursion that stopped at Stonehenge, not listed on the excursion, we stopped at Salisbury for a walk to the Cathedral, did not go in, before being dropped off at LHR.

What is the currency for these ports? Euro ?

I have a cruise for February 24 to March 2 out of FLL. I am planning hotel stays 3 night before and 2 nights after either beach area or 17th St hotels. I am wondering if there any events, concerts, spring breaks planned around that time so I can plan on which area to stay?

They released 2023 prices in Dec 2022. I am looking for Feb 2024. I also have booked direct with Hyatt Place and waiting for Value Trips prices.

I had booked Hyatt Place direct. I am a member of Hyatt. When Value Trips prices for 2023 came out, I cancelled my direct booking. You do not get points booking through Value Trips or any third party agency. At the hotel, I asked what was offered for breakfast, no mention of a price. I believe at one time on Value Trips site, it was mentioned a $11 charge for breakfast.

In February, there was no charge for the breakfast, I booked through Value Trips.

We are staying at the Hilton Rome Airport hotel post cruise. I booked Rome Cabs for 9:15am. You usually have to be off the ship by 9:30am. If flying back home, plan 90 minutes for the drive to airport plus 3 hours at the airport.

If staying in London, I have used a car service - www.justairports.com from LHR to my London hotel and London hotel to LHR. Use your hotel’s postal code to get a quote.

If your return transfer are with Princess, they only have transfers on embankment day from airport to port and disembarkment port to airport or port to London Victoria Coach station. If you have a hotel booked with Princess the transfers are included Airport-hotel-Southampton. If you plan to stay at a hotel post cruise near LHR, I suggest you book www.internationalfriends.co.uk. They pick up at Southampton port, stop at Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor then drop off at London hotels, LHR hotels. Depending on which LHR terminal you arrive at, there are hotels attached to the airport. You can spend the night pre and post cruise, walk back to the airport and take Princess transfer.

I noticed on another thread, the person posted the Disembarking Information sheet, there is a section where you can purchase a transfer to the airport.

You probably can go Excursion Desk and get a transfer to the airport without an excursion.

Maybe the quote of $139 is the transfer with a excursion?

I am with the Sale agency. I email my agent with a list of requirements that I want - cabin #, PVP, Standard for each cruise. For this Sale, she is going to cancel my 3 cruises for 2024/2025 and rebook and I will receive more OBC. When I first read about the Sale, I thought the Plus was included in the Sale, I ask my agent and was told “no”. Everyone has Standard and they add the Plus @ a cost. The agents now get a commission for selling Plus that is why they push it
