A few years, I had £ in big amounts from my bank. While in Winchester, I tried at a couple of banks to exchange £ into smaller amounts, they would not exchange unless I had an account with them. I finally found a place that they were happy to exchange for me.

When we were on the Sky in May/June out of Southampton doing Norway and Scandinavia, my BIL asked our cabin attendant what he wanted £ or US$ and he wanted £ as he was standing on the ship. Our dining room servicer was leaving the ship so we extra tip him in UD$.

I purchase the soda package, WiFi and tips for each cruise. When I have a B2B cruises, the first cruise I had no problem with the soda package. On the second cruise of the B2B, the server told me I had to pay for the soda. I go to Guest Services, no record showing I purchased the soda package for that cruise. I went to get my copy of my Travel Summary that shows everything that I purchased. He added the soda package to my account. He even said I had not purchased WiFi again showed him the Travel Summary. This has happened on 2 cruises. I bring a copy of my Travel Summary, pre cruise purchases and everything I booked for that cruise.

People will be wearing their medallion. At the lounge door, there will be a Princess representative, they might question the colour of their medallion.

I wonder why there is a big difference in price from other Luau? Maybe because this one has alcohol drinks?

Check out - www.valuetrips.com for Hyatt Place 10th Ave. Hotel has free breakfast, close to shopping center, restaurants, alcohol store and grocery store. You put a credit card down and pay at hotel. Price on Value Trips does not show price with taxes. You will receive a confirmation email and it will show your total price. To cancel or change reservation you have to contact direct with the hotel. I saved $91 booking through Value Trips for my Feb 2023 stay. 2023 prices came out in Dec 2022. I would think 2024 prices will come out about that time. Many cruisers stay there.

I am looking at April 2024. I don’t see Air Canada flight for 4:30pm.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have only looked at flights. Cruise is 16 days, Friday to Sunday. We will fly non stop YYZ-SFO on Thursday - 8am-10:55am flight Depending on the price our return non stop flight SFO-YYZ - Sunday or Monday either 11:50am or 10:30pm flight I am looking for a hotel close to a HOHO stop as I have bad knees and are painful for long walks. Can we make a 11:50am from the port to the airport on a Sunday? If we decide to take the Sunday 10:30pm flight, we could take the ships's post cruise 4 hour tour and wait at the airport.

In June, I took post cruise Stonehenge excursion. I had a 5:05pm flight. On the bus, the driver had passengers sit in certain areas on the bus for each terminal. The guide said we had time for a stop at Salisbury, we got out and walked to see outside of the Cathedral. We were given a time to return to the bus. We had plenty of time at Stonehenge to get the bus to the stones, bathroom stop and something from the cafe. No sure of the time we arrived at LHR. We were dropped off at our terminal. We had to wait at screening as we had left our IPads in our carryon and they had to be rescreened. Time to walk through duty free and wait to see our gate. FYI - they don’t post gate number until close to the flight time (maybe 30-45 minutes) so sit where you can see the board. Can you go to see Stonehenge pre cruise? What hotel did you stay at the airport?

I have never flown into San Francisco before, coming from Toronto, Canada. Cruising on Ruby Princess. I am looking for a hotel near Fisherman Wharf. Any suggestions? Do hotels have shuttle from airport to hotels? How far is the airport to Princess port? Is there a Hop On Hop Off bus?

Booking a balcony on the Ruby for 16 day Hawaii cruise. Is one side better than the other for Hawaii or does it not matter both good?

I was on the Sky from Southampton May/June 2022, we had a kettle in our cabin. I did not want to use it and ask the attendant to remove and he was shocked that I didn't want it. He put it under the bed.
