Tonight show on Caribbean is a singer, no reserved seats for Premier package

My agent was going to change cabins on my 2024 cruise. I wrote to her to ask if calling if she could find out if the Soda package could be purchased by phone. She wrote back that she was able to add Soda package to my Feb 2024 and Sept 2024 cruises.

I have a Carib cabin booked for 2024 14 day Northern Lights cruise on the Caribbean Princess.

Thanks for 1/2 covered part. I knew about the bigger balcony. I wanted to know if I needed to change cabins for another cruise. I need to have a fully covered balcony. Presently, on the Caribbean Princess docked in Jamaica enjoying my fully covered balcony on the Riviera deck.

Are the balcony full covered, or partially covered? Presently we are on the Caribbean Princess in a Riviera cabin which is fully covered

We used Radio cab in Southampton from Premier Inn West Quay to dock. Premier Inn West Quay had a direct phone line to Radio, can’t help with a phone number. Cab driver said embarkment and disembarkment are their busiest days, we had pre booked once we arrived at the hotel. He said Radio is the biggest cab company in the area. Post on Port of Call - Britain. Maybe post for John Bull as he is from the area and can help with phone/email numbers

In the past, I purchase soda, tips, 50% WIFI for each of my cruises. I can not purchase soda package for my two 2024 cruises. Being Canadian, I pay $20/day for the soda package, I do not drink enough soda/mocktails to pay for itself. I purchase it for the convenience getting a drink when I pass a bar when I want one. If Princess goes away totally with the soda package and makes it a package I would purchase the package it would better than none.

I meet the Bar Manager again today, Feb 22. He remember me from the other day when I discussed the Classic Soda and Coffee packages disappearing. I mention why not have a - Soda package with soda, tips, WiFi Coffee package with coffee, WiFi, tips He liked the idea and will pass it on. He said Princess is gathering information and no decision can be made right away. I also mentioned the discussions on Cruise Critic and Facebook about the removals.

This is what we presently purchase separately. Princess is still making money off of us. People have to contact their agent who has to to contact their agent’s Princess Representative (not the phone booking agent) to complain then maybe Princess will listen to the wants of their passengers

Why doesn’t Princess offer packages for - Classic Soda, WiFi, tips Coffee, tips, WiFi

Yes, second night was a first production show. I have found the first night, the theater is not full as people have a late lunch, late, dinner, unpacking. On the Caribbean, the first night show was packed. We decided to go earlier for dinner on the second night, theater doors opened just before 7 and by 7:15 it was packed. We were seating on the left side near the audio booth, I could not see if there were reserved seats on the right side of the theater. I will see if seats are reserved tonight.

Enter deck 7, left side once you enter the doors. It seemed it was a section that hand railings all around so easy to have a separate area for the reserved all together with no one around there. Center seats are long rows.

On the Caribbean Princess, there were not Premier seats reserved Feb 20. Tonight Feb 21, deck 7, left hand side, 5 rows had covers on them to reserve Premier seats. Crew checked medallions. It was announced that 10 minutes before the show any vacate seats would be released.

I am on the Caribbean Princess, I spoke to the Bar Manager today. He said “Princess is pushing Plus\Premier packages”. I told him “ not everyone drinks alcohol and they want just coffee/Classic soda packages”. He said “ he would pass the complaint on” I had emailed my agent to contact her Princess Representative not the phone booking agent as we all know they don’t know what’s goes on to complain also. My agent has passed my email over to her Representative. More people have to write and complain

I take the Classic Soda package as I don’t drink alcohol or coffee. It is cheaper to purchase separately the Classic Soda, Tips, and Elite WiFi. I save a few $$$. I have paid for all 3 for my Nov 2023 cruise. Only recently On Board Services products were added to my Sept 2024. I last time I looked, Classic Soda package was there for 2023 and 2024. I have paid for 2024 products yet. I noticed like others that the Classic Soda package has disappeared from both my 2023 and 2024 cruises. Hope they bring it back.

Hire more customer service agent to stop the long wait time on phones.

You can try Rome Cabs and see about a transfer with a small tour before airport

We enjoyed our tour with Princess, some walking, some drive by with plenty of time at St Peter’s Basilica. I picked this excursion as we were able to see some of Rome before being dropped off at the airport. I especially picked the Hilton Rome Airport as it is attached to the airport so saved on time and money the next day to get to the airport for our flight. This November, we are staying again before and after our cruise at the Hilton Rome Airport. I have booked Rome Cabs both ways. We are sharing the cost with others from our Roll Call. Rome Cabs have Rome tours. The Hilton Rome Airport, advertised pre Covid they had a shuttle into Rome. We will see how tired we are post cruise if we take it. Check your Roll Call maybe someone is doing a tour.

I have the same problem with what I see online and my agent who calls Princess about the fare price I see. I even send a screenshot of what I see. I log out, log in, no log in. Agent says Princess doesn’t see what I see.

In 2019, we took Princess post Rome excursion (Debark tour - St Peter’s Basilica & Colosseum) with a drop off at either the train or airport. Picked up our luggage after exiting the ship, walked to the bus. The guide talked along the way to Rome. Bus parked near St Peter’ Basilica, guide walked with us then we had time on our own, walked back to the bus, bus drove past other sights. Some people were dropped off at the train station. I were dropped off at the airport mid afternoon. We walked through the airport to the Hilton Rome Airport (attached to the airport with a walkway to the hotel). Next day, walked back to the airport for our flight in the morning.

I have been to Disney when they had Fast Pass and you have to choose day, time, and ride and they gave you about a hour time period to use it.. With the Genie, I know the price is per day. Do you have to choose time, and ride? Or just show up at the ride? Is there a line at each ride just for Genie?
